    Use & Care

    Use

    • Ideal for gas and electric cooktops; not compatible with induction cooktops.
    • Oven safe to 430°F.
    • To protect tin lining from damage, do not heat pan empty or at temperatures above 430°F.
    • Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching tin lining.

    Care

    • Allow to cool before washing.
    • Hand-wash; dry immediately with soft cloth.
    • Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads and harsh detergents.
    • Copper will develop rich patina over time. This will not affect pan's cooking performance. To keep exterior looking new, use copper polish or combination of lemon and salt.
    • Tin lining protects food from reacting with copper but will become discolored over time. This is normal. Depending on frequency of use and type of food cooked, tin lining may eventually have to be replaced. To prolong lining's usefulness, avoid cooking acidic ingredients in tin-lined cookware.

    Very diverse!

This one pot took the place of three aluminum. It’s so diverse, and I cook everything from stews, to cooking ground beef. The only complaint I have is you need to protect your hands because the handles get as hot as the pot! It’s also so pretty, it lives on my stovetop.

When I opened the box at home it was clear that there were defects in the lid, one area is green with tarnish and other areas are discolored. I was offered to return it at my expense and get a gift card to the store. I purchased it while traveling so the cost for shipping both ways made it prohibitive to return and replace online so I am just stuck with a lid that looks pretty rough.

    Love it!

Why save the best things to only use them for special occasions? I love this pan and use it almost every day!
