deBuyer makes awesome baker tools to make baking as convenient and easy as possible. The Double Boiler works as advertised. Melting chocolate is smooth and easy. deBuyer Products are not cheap, they are worth the price and last a long time. I have 2 other deBuyer Products and I have been very happy with them. deBuyer is a French Company with an awesome reputation.

So convenient to use !

So much more convenient than two pots or pot and a plate. So good to not have to worry about water getting into expensive chocolate.

Safest double boiler I've ever used

My kids and I enjoy baking. This double boiler made melting anything easy and safe. Even my 11 year old can use it without me worrying about him getting burn. Totally worth it. The only thing I noticed is that if I tilt it a bit too much when pouring the content into a pan a few water drops came out from the handle.

I haven't had tthe opportunity to use it yet. It was received as described and securely wrapped. looks great anxious to try it out.

Gorgeous and functional

I love the deBuyer brand. You can see and feel the quality. This double boiler is so perfect because it avoids have several different bulky pans/inserts to store. It is absolutely lovely to look at and does the job it is intended for without any fuss.

10 Years old and still going strong

The perfect pan for making hollandaise. Bought at WS at least 10 years ago and have never had an issue with it. Also it looks beautiful!

A terrific kitchen tool worth every penny

As I keep ruining pots and pans with my make shift double boilers, it was time to try something new. I am delighted that I did. This clever pan makes things so much easier! The water was easy to add and drain when I was finished. The heat was gentle and the chocolate melted beautifully. It was a good temperature to add it to the batter right off the stove. It is made in France and is of the quality I would expect of cooking tools made there. I love my double boiler and would highly recommend it!

Great product… Second one I bought. The plastic filler cover broke after 7 or 8 years.

Initially a great idea but....

Will break and leak. Had 3 of them all replaced under warranty. Sent 3rd one back and been waiting weeks for my refund.

Perfect!!

Perfect size for making candy. I make homemade gummy bears, regular double boilers are way to big. This is the perfect size. My hesitation when initially buying was a review about the steam. Yes steam does come out of the handle, all I do is turn the pot. I’ve never been burned once. I’m extremely happy with this product and highly recommend.
