Use
- Be sure to store your unit in an upright position. Do not store frozen desserts in the mixing bowl in the freezer for more than 30 minutes at a time. Transfer frozen desserts to a freezer-safe, airtight container for longer storage in the freezer.
Care
- Clean the mixing bowl, mixing paddles and lid in warm soapy water. Mixing paddles and lid are top-shelf dishwasher safe. Do not put mixing bowl in the dishwasher or clean with abrasive cleaners or implements. Wipe motor base clean with damp cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly.

Easy to use for gelato or ice cream

Easy to use. Since my recipe takes a quart of milk, and a pint of cream for two batches, I can cook the custard base in one pan, cool it overnight, and then freeze two batches of gelato right in a row. It simplifies was was complicated cooking the two batches separately and making the gelato on two days. One step and done. The first time I used it, it made a clicking sound as it turned. After stopping it and realigning the paddle, there's never been a click again. Just saying, it was user error, and easy to correct. Enjoy some tasty gelato or ice cream just as you like it, without having to freeze the container first. It has a separate paddle for gelato, unlike the first machine I had.

Quicker process of making two batches

I love the smooth texture of gelato made in this self-freezing machine. It helps me make two batches of gelato in a row without re-freezing the container like in my previous machine. The recipe uses 1 quart of milk, and 1 pint of cream. It's so much easier to cook the custard base with these two full containers, rather than cooking two small batches. I'm enjoying getting the process done with only one day cooking the base. The machine seems strong and durable. I think the one place they could have made it better, is the gear that turns the dasher or paddle is plastic and metal would have a longer life.

Good machine, good company

Made ice cream 6 times with this machine, a learning curve but nice, real nice. Companies warranties, reputation made my decision. Wish I’d of done this a lot sooner, like that much.

Great Machine

Exceeded Expectations

We love this product! To be able to make homemade ice cream without the hassle of ice and rock salt has been a game changer. I thought I would put the unit away between uses, but I’m making ice cream almost daily now, so just leave it on the counter. We’re having so much fun trying new flavors now because it’s so simple. The unit is easy to clean.

It’s working great, but there are a couple of things that could be improved: the little window on the lid tends to pop open on its own while it’s in use ( I followed the instructions to not pass the volume limit), which can let the contents spill out; and the timer… it’s a bit of a pain not being able to set it directly.
