Use & Care
Care
- Empty drip tray and capsule container every day.
- Remove and clean cup support and wipe inside machine.
- Remove and clean water tank with odorless detergent, then rinse with warm water.
- Rinse and dry milk jug after each use. If required, wash jug with mild detergent.
- Fill milk jug with fresh potable water to MAX level. Position steam wand in center of jug and ensure jug is positioned on top of sensor in drip tray. Select Rinse Steam Wand from Menu. Once complete, discard water and wipe steam wand with clean, damp cloth.
- Do not use strong or abrasive solvent, sponge or cream cleaner.
- Do not put in dishwasher.
- Never immerse appliance or part of it in water or any other liquid.
- Dry all parts with soft, clean cloth and reassemble machine.
- Wipe coffee outlet and machine regularly with clean, damp cloth.

I love the look, and I find it easy to maintain.

I've had my machine for over 3 years. I descale it monthly, and it has worked great. We use about 6-8 pods a day. I take on vacation when we go for 2 weeks. We have 5 adults, and we use at least 15-20 pods a day. No problems. My machine is starting to show signs of being on the backside of its life, but I'm planning on buying another soon.

I want to love this machine, but I kind of don't

I want to love this machine, but I kind of don't. For the price, I'd expect more, especially compared to older machines. The stainless finish looks really nice in theory, but it is hard to keep clean and looking shiny. Any little water droplet dries visibly on the surface and makes it look dirty. I've only had the machine 3 months and have already had to descale it twice. I brew 1-2 capsules most days, which doesn't seem like an extreme amount to warrant so much descaling. I did the water test and set the machine appropriately (at 2 of the 4 bars, so right in the middle) - I have city water and filter it through a Brita pitcher before putting it in the machine. It does not let you bypass the descaling warning, so you cannot use the machine until you go through the descaling process (which takes a lot of water and like 15 minutes). Not a great way to start my morning if I'm in a rush to get to work. I had the Latissima Pro for over a decade before it finally quit on me. That allowed me to bypass the descaling warning and let met continue to brew my coffee and come back to descale when I had time. I wish this one would let you do that. I drink a lot of Americanos and tea, so I was really excited about the hot water feature of this machine. Unless you're doing fancy coffee drinks with frothed milk regularly, I don't think this machine is worth it. I'd probably be better off getting a more basic machine and an electric kettle.

Nice easy to use touch display. Sleek metal finish. Built very well to with stand daily use. Easy to clean. User friendly. The heating unit works very well in preparing a great brew!

11/10 — Would froth again

This machine is not just a coffee maker—it’s your own personal barista in a shiny, stainless steel tuxedo. The Nespresso Creatista Pro looks like it could launch a space shuttle, but instead, it launches your morning into delicious caffeinated orbit. Touchscreen? Check. Fancy milk frother? Check. Feeling like a latte wizard? Absolutely. You can whip up espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, and even those mysterious flat whites that only coffee shop hipsters used to understand.

Bad machine x2

Got my first creatista pro for Christmas. When I attempted to use the milk frother feature the machine would turn off and couldn’t be turned back on for approx 30mins. Nespresso sent me a replacement in feb. Now the new machine has been used aprox 20 times since feb and has started doing the same thing. Brews coffee then starts to steam milk for a few seconds and shuts down completely

Newer Not Better

All Nespresso has done is take a great product and make it less user friendly. They added a fussy touch screen with instructions to an already simple to use machine. This new one is touchier, fussier, and all around a pain compared to the older simpler version.
