Defective Product after one time use

Loved the original Cusinart food processor from the 1980s. Replaced it recently and I used it one time and the lid won’t lock. Tried everything cleaning it, alignment of the bowl, the top; nothing works. Threw it away after one time use. This should not happen. Very disappointed and found other reviewers have the same problem. The product is defective.

    A very solid food processor

Replaced an old kitchen aid with this model.....much more power to make dough, and chopping root vegetables.

    Poor Customer Service

Purchased this machine in June. When trying for first time, the cover would not lock in place. Called to return item. I explained the problem and that I wanted a replacement but did not have the original shipping box. I was told that they would ship the replacement and that I could use the box to return the defective one. In early September I called to inquire on the status of the replacement and was told it was on backorder. Now it is October and I am being told that the replacement can't be sent until the defective one is returned. Today,, after I received some satisfaction from a supervisor but is has been a long and frustrating ordeal that leaves a blemish on WS reputation.

The only food processor that is worth it.

Amazing, the only food processor worth it. Cheese grating with ease. Good simple design. Purée soup is easy now.

    Just Satisfied

I cannot put anything larger than approximately 3” tall in the large chute. That makes no sense to me. Very disappointing. I wished I saved my return packaging. It is a good heavy duty machine. Quality made!

    Love this mighty machine.

This is my second Cuisinart food processor. My first Cuisinart lasted for 35 years and I could not be without one. So happy with my new purchase.

    Cumbersome

I did not like this product at all. I saw America's Test Kitchen said it was the Best, but to me, not so much. The instructions did not explain the locking mechanism for the blades (I had to figure out on own-took long while). Everything has to be cut down to 1 inch in order to get the shute to lock in the back pole. My kitchen was a mess from all the cuttings. I'm very disappointed in Cusinart, and I usually like Cusinart. I have all the pots/pans. Please improve, or make this processor more customer friendly and easy. (The shute was very combersome). Sorry, I returned for my refund. (I am not sure if my older model was Cuisinart, but if it was, I loved that one till I broke it).

    Fantastic

I personally don't have this model, but I am still using the one I bought in 1985. Best small appliance that I have ever purchased. It still works great!
