Breville Paradice™ Food Processor, 16-cup

This must be just like livin in Paradice!

Is there anything this machine can’t do? It slices, it actually dices, it makes French fries and more. Wow. This Paradice 16 is so well made it *almost* takes the fun out of using it because it’s so fast! I mean you can tear down an entire 20lb watermelon in under a minute. The performance and engineering is astounding and I am very proud to own this machine. I have used Breville for the last two decades successfully - especially their smart ovens. The two large boxes of accessories may seem a little daunting at first, but I’d recommend just prepping a bunch of food for several days experimenting with all of them. There is nothing else like this. Love the new stainless steel finish, the large capacity, the easy to read lines, the extra bowl, and the dicing feature is truly a marvel to behold. I keep the attachments OUT, on the bottom shelf of a stainless steel table I keep in the kitchen for instant access. The color coding it makes it super user friendly.

Powerful, handy, but prepare for a learning curve

Great food processor. I had the Sous Chef, so I was familiar with the power; wanted the dicing ability. Be prepared - there IS a learning curve to getting good results with the dicing kit. Dry, firm veg (like zucchini) come out great; onions and bell peppers can become a globby mess on the disks which take as long to clean out as it would have been to manually slice them. Breville needs videos on how to get the best results with different types of vegetables. I've had the machine for 2 months and use it frequently enough to remain on my counter. I'd buy it again. I'd give 5 stars if Breville (or Williams-Sonoma) had instructional videos for cutting a variety of veg types.

Prefect Helper in food prep

The Breville Paradice 16 cup Food Processor is like having a second person helping me that never fails. I am so happy I got this. Fresh shredded cheeses with every piece shredded, no little balls of cheese left behind, or the wedge that runs around the top and never shreds. Makes dough a breeze. I can't say enough to express how wonderful this is. It's spendy but worth the price.

Most Efficient

I am still learning and using the Breville 16 cup food processor most every day. I’ve put my knife down and ask how to best slice and dice any food product I am considering using. The efficiency is amazing.

Paradice™ 16: Missing Grating Disc After Years of Requests

As someone who has been using several Breville appliances, including their food processor, I had high expectations for the Paradice™ 16. Unfortunately, it falls short in one key area: the lack of a grating disc for grating vegetables and cheese. This is a feature that has been requested by many users for years, but it’s still missing in this model. Without the grating disc, I’m left doing a lot of extra manual work, which really detracts from the convenience that a food processor is supposed to offer. While the Paradice™ 16 performs well in other areas, this omission is a significant oversight, especially for anyone who needs to shred or grate regularly. Given my positive experiences with Breville products in the past, I’m disappointed that this issue hasn’t been addressed.

Don't waste your money.

Dude, I was so pumped to get this food processor, thinking it'd be a lifesaver! I really wanted that dicing function – perfect cubes, so much faster, right? Wrong. It's a total disaster. So much gets stuck, I'm constantly stopping to clean it out. What a pain! And, my bad, I thought this pricey thing came with a peeler, it doesn't. Seriously disappointing. It's added more work, not less. Total waste of money!

DO NOT BUY FROM WILLIAMS_SONOMA!!!!! Buy right from Breville or Amazon. This is my first experience with this website. I ordered the Breville Paradice from here and they sent me kitchen towels instead!! I let them know that there has been a mistake. I showed them the picture that the UPS driver took of the box of towels and they said that they cant send me my purchase until I return the kitchen towels. I told them I cant go to the UPS store this week, maybe in the next week and a half or so and that I really need my really expensive purchase that they have already charged me for!! They said its procedure and that they can't even give me a shipping date!! what??!! I asked to speak to a manager and she told me to hold on because she has to wait for a response from them, she had me waiting over ten minutes then hangs up on me and when I call back they said they were closed!! She purposely kept me waiting until they closed. I noticed she kept pausing for 5 to 10 minute stretches and now I realize that is what she was doing! I didnt expect this from a company like WS but I am never buying from here again!! I want a refund and I am going to order straight from Breville, same price either way! Save yourself a headache and avoid this type of stress and order from other venues because God forbid theres an issue and they treat you like garbage!

Really disappointed

I just bought it and tried the dicing system. Almost all my onion was stuck in the dicing blade. It would have been easier to dice with a knife than trying to remove the onion from the blade and wash everything. The same thing happen with a butternu squash. I will return it.
