- Always use caution when handling sharp objects.

- It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.

- Hand-wash with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry immediately.
- Maintain knife's cutting edge by regularly using honing steel.
- Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing, your knife should not need sharpening more than once or twice a year.
- Sharpen knife at home using whetstone or knife sharpener, or have it sharpened by a professional.
- Store knife in safe place to protect edge and prevent injury.

Don't Buy From Williams Sonoma

Took 6 weeks after order placement to get delivery notification (even though on the website it said a week), and then their carrier marked it as undelivered. Had to call them to get another shipment sent out, but that was also going to take another 3 weeks or more (who knows). Ended up cancelling the order. Point of the review: Buy from another vendor!!!!
