Summary
This manual sharpener is really three tools in one, designed to keep your straight-edged knives and kitchen shears in prime condition. There's a carbide section for sharpening, a ceramic section to finely hone and finish.
- Wüsthof has introduced a new logo for their cutlery. Please note that the logo on your knives may differ slightly from images shown here.
- Sharpens all straight-edged knives as well as scissors.
- It offers two stages of coarseness: a carbide section for setting a sharp edge on dull blades and a ceramic section to finely hone and finish the edge (also useful for quick touch-ups).
- Easy-grip handles and a flat base ensure steadiness as you sharpen.

Don’t waste your money.
If I could give a 0, I would. This Wusthof sharper is awful. Made my knife more dull. Absolutely not worth it.

This is a sturdy knife sharpener. It does exactly what it it supposed to do; quickly sharpen knives. A few quick strokes and my knives are as sharp as when purchased.
