Use & Care
Use
- To keep board in optimal condition, apply food-safe mineral oil twice per month.
- Allow oil to be absorbed for at least 6 hours. For best results, leave on overnight.
- After oil has been absorbed, wipe off any excess using clean, dry cloth.
- Avoid contact with cooking oils such as olive oil and canola oil.
Care
- Hand-wash with hot, soapy water.
- Dry thoroughly.
- Do not soak or submerge in water.
- Do not clean in dishwasher.
- Periodically rub with food-safe mineral oil to keep wood from drying out.
- Dry completely before storing.

Warped upon arrival

Looks beautiful but arrived damaged - it was warped so it doesn’t lay flat on the counter. Tried to return but have still not received a refund after calling 5 times. Based on other reviews, it looks like this is a common issue. Definitely don’t recommend this product if there’s a risk of receiving a damaged one with no way to return it.

Perfection!

Just received my cutting board today and I love it! Lays completely flat on my counter, just the right size, nice and thick and it’s gorgeous to look at! For me it’s perfect.

Not a great cutting board

Not a real fan of this cutting board or WS customer service. The first board was damaged in shipping and WS would not send a new one until the damaged one was returned. I should not have had to go to the trouble to return the damaged one. The replacement cutting board is warped on the bottom so it pivots when you cut on it. I will just put a grip pad underneath but that's kind of annoying.

Love the look. The quality is nice too. Make sure to boos it.

Does the job

It's beautiful, large, heavy. The rim for drain off is handy. The handles aren't well sanded. With shipping it was very pricy. It doesn't have Williams Sonoma etched into it which i could have done without but is fine. I'm now questioning the health of using kitchen items treated with stains and pieced together with glue. But hopefully it will keep my knives sharper.

Beautiful cutting board

Great cutting board so far. Only 4 stars because you need to put a towel or something under the board so it doesn’t spin/move. Otherwise, the board is beautiful and functional.
