- Unit should remain upright at all times; if turned on its side or upside down for storage, it will need to be placed in an upright position for 24 hours prior to using.

It takes TIME. BUT WORTH IT :-)

Skip the recipe book. Plenty of awesome online recipes. Makes ice cream as good as or better than stores and high end shops. But plan on 1 hour min prep time. Use only top notch ingredients. Buy 1/2 pint containers in line- since you are going to want to show off!

I have nothing but problems with this ice cream maker I’ve had it to long to return but because I only use it a few times because who makes ice cream all the time I would never recommend this product

Perfection

Flawless. So far we have made peach, raspberry, strawberry and chocolate. All were excellent. Super easy cleanup. 45 min run time.

Died WAAAY TOO Soon for the Price

After having this 5 years, the display screen went out and now it doesn’t function unless it’s on auto. Also, the container is small and not enough for a party of 6 or more. NOT WORTH THE PRICE!

Icream maker is amazing

I actually have owned the scoop for several years, but had put it aside during the pandemic. I have recovered it and what a delight. It is simple to operate, makes delicious sorbet, sherbet and ice cream with ease. The flavors are excellent.

Test before you take it home!

I just bought one today and right out of the box the hardness setting rotary knob did not work. I saw online that many others have had this problem. I returned it to the big box store and got another and tested it in the store this time before leaving and found that one to work fine. Bonus was that the store gave me a 50$ discount for the inconvenience! Yay! So far I've made 3 batches on day one and I'm AMAZED by the quality of the ice cream! I made a standard vanilla bean custard base and found that it finished in only about 35 mins! Faster than I've seen others post online. I so want to give this a 5 star but I'm annoyed with the cheap, flimsy knob that I hope won;t fail on this second machine I bought. Really enjoying this machine and hope it lasts!

Not good enough

Did not live up to my expectations.. Reading what the machine was supposed to do did not live up to Breville standards. Plastic paddle not worth it. Hard ice cream not. Soft ice cream only. The temperature moves around and does not maintain a constant cold temp. I tried manual and auto. The machine on a whole does not meet my standards. I wish I would have bought the Lello Musso Pola.
