I ordered a new knife lock that was advertised online as having the Wusthof name etched into the wood. I received a knife lock with a plastic plate glued on. Having read reviews about the plate coming off, I returned the block because it was not the one in the picture. Change the picture, or cha get the knife block please!

Faulty slots

Item delivered with faulty slots that made it difficult to insert steak knives. Returned the same day it was delivered and after more than a week I am still waiting to receive my refund.

Replacement

I used to have a wooden drawer knife storage, before the Eaton fire. This new block is working out well.

Solid & great quality knife block

Beautiful knife block with plenty of slots. Wish there was a bit more flexibility in ways to use slots but otherwise it is solid and looks good on the countertop.

The black block works great, blending with my kitchen counters. I only thing I wish was that there had been an additional option for a slightly larger block capable of holding a few more knifes. I've doubled up some of the smaller knives into the slots with the larger knives to make them all fit.
