Use & Care
Use
- Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
- Oven safe to 500°F.
- Before first use, wash interior with care and dry thoroughly with kitchen towel or soft cloth.
- Always cook over moderate heat, and never heat pan when empty.
- High heat is not recommended. Start with medium heat and reduce to lower setting when food is added.
- Do not use aerosol cooking spray oils on nonstick surface.
Care
- Allow pan to cool before washing.
- Dishwasher safe; hand-wash recommended.
- Nonstick cookware is naturally subject to wear and tear. We recommend replacing pans as needed, or approx. every five years.
- Avoid using steel wool, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners.

Great pair for a very good price

The pans are awesome and cook great. Some complain about the handle being to long which makes the pan hard to handle - just don’t have that problem. The lid on the other hand….it IS NOT the same quality as what comes on the pots. It’s thinner and the handle is not as cool to the touch as the standard lids. Just make sure you use a hot pad !!! I did get the pair on sale during the holidays and just couldn’t pass them up.

William Sonoma 4 1/4 qt sauté pan

I have owned my pan for several years and have purchased 2 this year for the next generation. It is my FAVORITE and go to pan to use on the stove. Great for stove top meals.

Just what I needed

I'm loving everything about these pans. The bottoms are even and flat, oil stays evenly distributed. Or, don't use oil, eggs do not stick! The bigger pan is a bit heavy but that is why there is a handle as well on the other side. Speaking of handles, these stay cool!! I'm thinking about giving a set for Christmas.

I wish I loved these...but I don't

While this is a beautiful set of pans, I especially needed a lighter weight wok, and this is all anyone could come up with. These are HEAVY pans, and the long handles are cylindrical, which make holding either pan to scoop out the food practically impossible. The full pan continually tries to flip itself over. Yes, one of them has an extra side handle, but with both hands needed to pick up the pan, you can't remove the food. Not at all helpful for me.

Nice cookware, lid is not as pictured

This is nice cookware, the lid for the 4.5 quart pan is not the same type insulated lid as the full set of cookware. It is a thinner version, possibly missing the bottom portion of lid, you can see the rivets on this lid.
