Use
- Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
- Oven and broiler safe to 500°F.
- For best results, use low to medium heat.
- When using high heat, bring pan slowly to high temperature.
- Use plastic, wood or nylon utensils only; metal utensils may damage enamel.
- Enamel may chip or crack if banged against hard surface.
- Handles and knobs can become very hot. Always use potholders or oven mitts when handling.

- Allow cookware to cool before cleaning.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Remove stubborn stains by soaking cookware for a few minutes in hot, soapy water.
- Completely dry before storing.

Very, very disappointed
I own a lot of Staub pots and I gift them too, so I have unboxed enough of them to know when something is off. The first petite pot arrived with two missing plastic separators which likely caused the huge gash that was on the lip of the pot. I re-ordered the same pot online and took the damaged one back to the store. The next pot arrived and the paint on the top lid had imperfections. I was so annoyed with myself because had I held onto the first pot (the lid on that one was perfect), I would have had a perfect set. I decided to try a third time. That pot had a damaged top and bottom. That’s when I gave up. I decided to compromise by purchasing the pot from the vendor (they did not have my color choice which is exclusive to W&S). That pot was a disaster. The rim had two gashes and it also looked off in color - like the result of oxidation. Just imagine if I was a first time buyer - it certainly would have been my last purchase of their products. Also, returning the pot to the vendor has been such a headache. I suggest buying Staub from a W&S store. But if it is a product that is only sold online (as this pot was), purchase from W&S in case you get a dud. Going forward I would not recommend purchasing their products online, especially if it is meant to be a gift. Just imagine what a headache this would have been for the recipient.

PERFECT LITTLE POR FOR 1-2 PEOPLE!
Bought this little pot in Sapphire to use as a Gohan (stovetop rice cooker). Does an amazing job, cooks 1C rice perfect every time. In addition, perfect for making soups, boiling eggs, and just about anything where 1-2 servings is needed. LOVE IT! Only negative is that it’s pricy for the size as compared to other Staub pots.

This is the second one I’ve bought, this one for my boyfriend‘s house. These are fantastic with perfect rice every time. It does take longer, but to me it’s worth it. The directions they give are way too complicated. Put in your rice, a little bit of extra water (1/8 cup per cup described) and salt and put on high, although I have read not to turn it past medium, but I’m usually using induction and infrequently gas. Once boiling, turn it down to low, 20 minutes for white rice, and 45 minutes for brown rice. Then take it off the heat and let it sit for 15 minutes. Perfect.

Great pot for 1-2 people servings
I absolutely love this cute little pot! It's my new favorite that I use for most things since I'm typically cooking just for myself. It makes perfect rice every time and when I forget the oatmeal is cooking I can always scrape it off the bottom with no problem. It's really the perfect size for 1-2 portions and is easy to clean up.

I love this cast iron rice cooker. I have made white, black, brown, and red rice to perfection in this pan with excellent results. Much quicker than an electric rice cooker, and much better texture and flavor. Cast iron is magical. I also use it to make personal size soups. Highly recommended.

I love Staub. This pan is just a great size for two. I had to exchange it due to a defect. I was accused of putting it in the dishwasher which I would NEVER do. Took HOURS to sort it out. Won’t be going to WS ever again.
