Absolutely love this waffle maker! Used my homemade buttermilk waffle recipe so they needed to cook a little longer, but they turned out perfect.

Don’t buy it

This rivals the R2D2 popcorn maker for the worst product to ever be endorsed by Williams Sonoma. It doesn’t get hot enough so the waffle batter was a blob. No heat settings. Just ridiculously dysfunctional.

Fun design but only mid waffles

It's a lot of fun to use. The waffles are OK. I think it doesn't get quite hot enough and the pattern isn't quite deep enough for really good, crispy waffles. If you have kids who love Star Wars, they'll definitely get a kick out of the waffles.

Absolutely terrible

Purchased this item for my son at the beginning of pandemic, waited over 6 months for delivery. Was absolutely disappointed with the quality. My son is still sad. I wish I did not disposed of the box right away, would happily returned it.

Stopped functioning after 4 months

We loved this waffle maker until it stopped functioning. After 4 months, the heating element stopped working. There doesn’t seem to be any warranty or replacement options, other than purchasing a new waffle maker. We waited for 5 months to receive this item due to back orders and shipping delays and are really disappointed that it worked for less time than it took to arrive.

Never Warmed Up

My experience was similar to others. Ordered it in late May for a Father’s Day gift, received it a few months later. The machine never warmed up enough to cook a single waffle. But too much time has passed since ordering to be able to return it. Big bummer.

Waffle Fail

Like others, this arrived several months late. So I saved it as a June birthday present (vs Christmas gift). We tried it out today for the first time and used all the suggestions noted in these comments but still consider this to be a total waffle fail. We SO wanted this to work - and the worst part is that we cannot return it now as it is too late. Very disappointed.

Does not get hot enough

I got this as a gift because I am a Star Wars junkie. Its very cute and the design is great. I used it a couple of times and the waffles didn't get cooked well enough. It may be a heating element issue. I was disappointed because I loved the concept.

Falcon waffles are definitely a must have

I absolutely LOVE this waffle maker. In one batch of my homemade waffle recipe, it makes 3 giant waffles. I used a heaping 1/2 cup of batter and the waffles were perfectly cooked and golden on each side. The first waffle I didn’t put enough batter in the well and although the impression was there on the top along with the full shape of the waffle, there wasn’t quite enough batter to evenly cook it (the bottom was golden and the top looked just cooked, not golden in color). The next waffle I did the heaping 1/2 cup of batter and it came out perfect. I poured the batter in and helped spread it to all the smaller areas of the Falcon, closed the lid, and within minutes... perfection. I didn’t find it took an abnormally long time to cook either; these are big waffles so it will take a minute. I’m happy I purchased this waffle maker!! It’s one of my favorites =)
