It also boasts an extra-wide heel that allows it to excel at a full range of cutting and slicing tasks. Handcrafted in Japan, the multitalented knife is agile enough to help you create the most precise julienne matchsticks as well as a fine brunoise.
- Dual-core stainless-steel blade is clad on each side with 71 micro layers of high-carbon, high-chromium stainless steel to create "hornet's nest" pattern reminiscent of Damascus-style blade.

Use
- Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
- Avoid cutting on hard surfaces, such as stone, metal and glass.
- Use wooden or plastic cutting boards.
- It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.
Care
- Hand-wash with warm water and mild detergent.
- Rinse and dry immediately.
- Avoid using cleaners that contain bleach and citrus extracts.
- Maintain knife's cutting edge by regularly using honing steel.
- Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing, knife should not need sharpening more than once or twice per year.
