Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer

Disappointing

I asked for guidance on a juicer that would dependably handle daily celery juicing. This juicer was recommended. It produces a good amount of juice, but the extracted pulp is so dry it sets up like concrete almost immediately. If you don't clean or at least rinse the juicer at once, you will have a long struggle. It is difficult to put together and take apart, and has so many parts it's almost impossible to clean adequately. Returned for a Breville.

Wow wow!

I have an Omega vertical slow juicer and I love it! But!!!! My mom has this one and I’ve been using it for 2 weeks at her house, it is amazing because the shoot is way bigger than mine. I need to chop things on mine. On this one my mom told me for years she just puts most stuff whole, including small to medium apples. The quality of juice is the same as mine, it just cuts the time of the chopping. The only thing she chops is the celery because of the fibers. If I didn’t pay over four hundred for my Omega i’d switch to this one.

QUIET, Taste Great,Easy to clean!!

I'm very pleased with this jucer! It is everything I had hoped for and I'm very excited to get healthy using It. Only thing is I wish it had a handle if you need to move it.

I did a lot of research before buying this product and had a lot of doubts especially because there were many pros and cons I've been reading online. In my case, I didn't like it at first because

Excited at first but Lacking Functionality

I juice all the time for about 10 years now. I received this from my wedding registry and used it quite often for 8 months or so. It was difficult until I eventually gave up. And Now it just collects dust and here's a few reasons why. 1) Not efficient. It gets clogged easily in 2 ways - going in and going out. a. even when you chop the fruits and veggies well, They get stuck in the neck/grinder area so you are constantly using the reverse motor function button which doesn't unclog the produce good enough. I've broken my wooden spoon trying to help the produce along because the cylinder presser that is supposed to help push down the produce doesnt work in the areas the produce gets stuck leaving a ton on unjuiced produced...hence my broken wooden spoon. I even turn the machine off and use my hands...need-less-to-say its not an easy process. b. pulp residue leftover after juicing is supposed to stream out the side spout into a garbage reservoir. Well there's a little rubber stopper that if pushed into far the exiting process gets clogged resulting in backed up waste pulp and then juice starts floating inside and cant exit its normal rout because of all the pulp backed up. That rubber stopper can only be reached when the entire machine is disassembled (during the cleaning phase). So this machine gets clogged going in and on the way out!! I've written the company and never heard back. I'm so disappointed because this was an expensive product and I'm a juicer! 2) Lastly, cleaning this machine is tedious with all its pieces and nooks and crannies. Hence why I sadly leave this on my countertop collecting dust. Today was the first day I attempted to use it in over 10 months and now I remember why. So I'm currently in the market for another slow juicer. What a waste of money.

I just bought this juicer. I have to admit that I needed to youtube on how to assemble it. Once you know, you're fine. My Breville broke and I am so happy it did. This juicer is amazing. Great product / great juice

I have had the Kuvings slow juicer for about 2 weeks now and its works very well. Juicing fruits, vegetables and also soy beans thus far. Good quality juice. Quiet and simple to use. Cleaning the juicer is straightforward and fast. Not longer using my high speed juicer.

30 days later can't live without it

I bought my Kuvings with Christmas WS gift cards and received it 30 days ago. I absolutely love it. I've been juicing daily, taking a bottle to work and finishing the day with a second juice. The juices are amazing and for being a "slow juicer," it makes juice quite quickly. The clean up is really no big deal -- maybe five minutes to disassemble and scrub the parts down. And most importantly, I'm feeling great from all this incredible juice I'm drinking every day.

Better than Hurom

I juice 4-6 times a week. My last juicer was the top of the line Hurom, which was very good, great with carrots, apples, beets, but it struggled with fibrous veggies like parsley and celery so much that I began avoiding using the juicer. Since I include celery in all my green juices, I am really glad my new Kuvings juicer can handle it! Now I do an entire bunch of celery at a time and only a part of the pulp opening plugs up with fibers, while the rest of the opening still allows for continued juicing. I have not had to stop to clean mid cycle once! To be fair, I should mention that the only slightly poorly designed part on this fabulous machine , is the fact that the juice container is about 2mm too tall, as it doesn't slide out from under the juice spout without catching on it, so I end up tilting the juicer a bit to slide out my full juice container.
