Hario pour over coffee maker

I bought this for my son. He loves it. He needed to tweak the grind size a bit but once he did the coffee is great. Concept is similar to a French press, but the paper filter imo makes it taste much better. Love that it is made in Japan!

Ceramic cone seems heavy for the carafe. I am careful when putting it in place.

I ordered the Hario V60 Coffee Pour-Over Coffee Maker Kit as a Christmas gift for my brother, and he loves it! 5 stars!

1/2 good, 1/2 bad

The coffee dripped is great and works well. The glass pourer cracked after only a few uses and light rinsing/ hand washing. Williams Sonoma does not seem to support returns or replacements for a defective product.

Simplicity and top quality

It is a fine quality piece. It shows the delicacy of the Japanese culture, besides is very simple and effective .No complications with electro mechanic pieces, no show is need it to enjoy a good cup of coffee , cleaning is a breeze .

Great Hario V60 with Carafe

Did a lot of research into going from a basic coffee maker to doing pour overs, grinding quality beans and even preparing my own water. Decided on a V60 and this one came with a carafe. I ended up buying two for those times when I have guests and need additional coffee. Also purchased a scale, grinder and kettle. I now have coffee of the same or better than our local coffee cafes. Love this solution

Great Kit for learner or professional!

Hario V60 is a very thoughtful pour over brewer because the design gives you the most control of the extraction which is really important if you want to learn about brewing and extraction. This kit provides a good start with everything you needs for V60 brewing. I would not recommend this brewer if you're not a professional or interested in learning about because this brewer requires more skills and knowledges to produce a nice tasting coffee.

I wouldn't recommend the kit. Just get the top.

I bought this pour over kit along with the hand crank coffee grinder and cold brew coffee jug. I wouldn't really recommend any of it. After a couple of weeks, the only thing I'm still using is the ceramic top. I put that right on top of my coffee mug. Everything else in the kit is getting thrown away because it seems pointless and takes up cupboard space.
