    Summary

Professional cooks worldwide praise Global cutlery for its perfect balance, light weight and seamless construction. This special Global set includes three essential knives for precise kitchen prep tasks. The peeling knife is ideal for peeling potatoes, carrots, apples and other hard produce. A serrated utility knife is especially useful for cutting foods with firm exteriors and soft interiors – from crusty bread and sausage to citrus fruits and tomatoes. The classic chef's knife's long razor-sharp blade is suited to virtually any cutting task, from dicing vegetables to quartering a chicken.

    • Set includes 3" peeler knife, 4 1/4" serrated utility knife and 8" chef knife.
    • Stamped blades made from exceptionally hard CROMOVA 18 high-carbon stainless steel, ice tempered and hardened to resist corrosion.
    • Prominent and visible 1/4" edges ground straight to a point rather than beveled, resulting in impressive sharpness and edge retention.
    • Stainless-steel handles seamlessly constructed and textured for good grip.
    • Crafted to professional standards, these knives are lightweight yet perfectly balanced.

    Use & Care

    Use

    • Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
    • Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass.
    • It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone or frozen food, as the blade can be easily damaged.

    Care

    • Hand-wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry immediately.
    • Use the honing steel only when you feel knife has lost some of its original sharpness, usually no sooner than six months after first use. As you continue to use your Global knife, it will require more frequent honing. If you need to hone knife more than once every two weeks, it is time to have it sharpened.
    • Sharpen at home using a whetstone or knife sharpener, or have sharpened by a professional.
    • Store in safe place to protect edges and prevent injury.

    3 knife Global Cromova set

The price and delivery were excellent. The eight inch chef knives was as expected and is my go to knives. The 4.5 serrated knife and 3 inch pairing knife were different then on display. The serrated knife was more like a dinner steak knife. The pairing knife was a little smaller than expected. Overall it was a good purchase for the chef and pairing knife. If I did the purchase again I would have purchased only the chef and pairing knife.

    Best Knives

These knives have high ratings on the internet. My mother got the chef knife and loves it. It’s the only one she uses. I was jealous so I bought these. I can chop garlic in no time, matchstick carrots and cuts through meat like butter. I ordered the vegetable knife and I am waiting for the Osaka knife set. I’m hooked! I have very expensive knives and the Global knives knock them out of the park. I use many knives when I cook. They are light weight and comfortable and very sharp.

    thin handles

Other than the large knife, the handles are much thinner than expected; a bit awkward to hold.
