Only Toaster to have

Just bought another after having one for 25yrs. Giving my older one to my daughter. had to only replace the timer —Dualit & Electra-Craft had the best customer service. My new toaster is black. luv it

Favorite Toaster

This is my second Dualit toaster. The first one I purchased 22 years ago. It finally wore out. I immediately got on Williams Sonma website and ordered a new one.

Not as hoped it would be

Larger slices of sourdough bread sre too wide. The timer for browning the toast needs to be almost all the way over to be a light brown. Seems to take longer to brown than my last toaster

Classic in a French Bistro kind of way

We haven't had a toaster oven in years as I have been trying to reduce the number of appliances on my counters. This toaster is beautiful, works so well and is fun to use. My family is grateful I took the plunge!

Broke after 2 years

Lever for lowering the bread broke after 2 years. For the price, I expected much better not to mention that when I got in touch with dualit they said they would charge me $189 to fix plus shipping!

New Generation Dualit Toaster

This Dualit replaced one lost in the Eaton Fire. We loved our Dualit due to its performance and durability - and would have given it a 5-Star rating. We expect the new one to perform as well. That said, the "Bagel" option does not seem to work as well as would be expected.

Disappointing

I have wanted this 4 slice toaster for so long. I have a very big kitchen and keep it clean of small appliances on the counters, but was going to make an exception when my copper and stainless toaster arrived. Unfortunately on the first use slots 1 & 2 on my toaster burnt the upper 1/4 of the toast on setting #1, and the copper end on one side of the toaster blackened in an area. I was so disappointed and felt very let down by the quality. I returned it and decided not to risk a repeat of this experience, so I did not reorder. WS delivered and accepted my return during the first 24 hours of receiving this toaster. I am always glad that I use WS because of their phenomenal customer service.

Great Basic Toaster with 1 Glitch

This is my second Dualit SS Toaster in 20 years. I love the original toaster I purchased, and wanted to purchase a second one in the Stainless Steel. However, it appears due to the streaming down of size there's not as much insulation, and the unit gets extremely hot to the touch, and takes time to cool before pushing it back under the cabinet to cool. Also, it does not brown the toast as well as the older model. Seems like all the heat comes out of the exterior rather than on the toast. The pull out crumb tray is more flimsy too. I will still keep it bc nothing is made the same anymore and that's a shame.
