Use
- Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
- Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal or glass.
- It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.
Care
- Hand-wash with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry immediately.
- Maintain knife's cutting edge by regularly using honing steel.
- Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing, knife should not need sharpening more than once or twice a year.
- Sharpen knife at home using whetstone or knife sharpener, or have it sharpened by a professional.
- Store in safe place to protect edges and prevent injury.

Knife Block Set

Love the look of the knife block. It is a subtle mix of wood tones that blend in with a variety of cabinets. The stainless steel knifes are very distinctive and the knifes are super sharp and cut so well. Love how I am able to easily grip and handle them!

Solid Steel Knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a set of these Cusinart Classic Stainless Steel knives to test out and used them for a couple weeks prior to writing this review. In general, the knives are high quality and have a solid sturdy feel to them. They come individually packaged in the box to ensure the knives are sharp and ready for immediate use. It was great having the selection offered in this set as there is a knife for all needs. My personal favorite was the Santoku knife which I used the most. Looking forward to continuing to use these knives and see how they rank from a longevity perspective. Definitely worth trying these out for a great affordable set of knives that will satisfy most of the needs of an everyday cook.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives are stainless steel with a natural hammared look. There are no set pins or other hardware that will eventually fail and no wood to collect germs or the need to repeatedly season with oil. It comes with a long filet blade which makes butterflying meats super easy. The komatsu knife is great for veggies, and with 2 different paring knives your apples will never see what's coming. I'm a bit disappointed there wasn't a vegetable cleaver included but the chefs knife more than makes up for it. It also comes with kitchen scissors, and a knife sharpener which I tested on an old dull kitchen knife, it sharpened the blade very nicely.The set also includes many steak knives. The solid butcher block holster is a great feature keeping your knives protected and keeps children from getting injured on these extremely sharp instruments. I had a similar set that lasted me well over 5 years, I highly recommend them.

Cuisinart knives

I will admit that I was skeptical about how comfortable they would be with the stainless handles, but was pleasantly surprised. These knives are comfortable, sharp, and strong. I have used them for cutting everything from soft bread to meat and cutting corn off the cob with no problem. And to top it off they have a nice classical look that fit with most kitchen decor.
