Works well out of the box

Right out of the box, this is an great product. On heavier breads, it still needs two cycles like all toasters to get a nice toast on the bread.

Great toaster. We only bought this one, because our 12 year old one started to not work properly. We love it!

Not the quality we expected from Cuisinart.

We replaced our Cuisinart 4 slice toaster with a new Cuisinart 4 slice toaster and their quality has gone downhill. The handle needs to be pushed down numerous times to stick on both sides and it is not toasting evenly. The new version is smaller and more lightweight and does not hold the wide loaf bread pieces that the old one did. We are considering returning it.
