Use & Care
Use
- Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
- Oven safe to 500°F.
- Safe for use with metal spatulas, spoons and whisks. Do not use with other types of metal utensils, such as forks and knives.
- Do not use aerosol cooking sprays; buildup over time will cause food to stick.
Care
- Allow pan to cool before cleaning.
- Dishwasher safe. However, we recommend hand-washing for best results.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads and harsh detergents.
- To remove stubborn food residue and stains, use nylon scrubbing pad and fine-powdered cleanser.
- Nonstick cookware is naturally subject to wear and tear. We recommend replacing pan as needed or approx. every 5 years.

Good pan-sidewall too high
The pan isn’t great gor egg dishes as the sidewalk is too high. Sliding eggs out isnt as convenient with a lower sidewall. Useable just not as convenient.

I own 2 other 8” pans by all clad which I really like. This one is very light weight and the handle gets real hot. My other 2 do not.

Handle Gets Too Hot
I bought this to replace a similar, older W-S 8" Calphalon nonstick pan. This cooks well enough, but falls very short when it comes to safety. The handle gets very hot -- burning your fingers hot -- if you cook anything that takes longer than a scrambled egg. Since my other brand pan set can handle longer-length cooking without burning my fingers, I'd say that this was a design flaw. I can be prepared and have an oven mitt ready, but I won't let my more forgetful teens use it. I have literally put it in a different closet so that they don't use it by mistake.

Good pan, but handle can burn your hand.
The pan is good, although the handle gets VERY hot when in use. I've burned my fingers 2x already.
