All-Clad 2-Slice Toaster

I chose the silver model as it is more neutral in color on the countertop. The model is easy to use, with a handle that pushes and an illuminated button to select the type of food to toast (e.g., bagels). It also lists the time before the start. Excellent appliance.

All-Clad toaster should not be a top choice

I trusted that an All-Clad toaster would be worth the investment: fair warning, it was not. Toast "spring" loader gave out just after the warranty had expired. Digital panel became discolored on its interior. Won't buy another All-Clad toaster.

Expensive, cheaply made piece of trash

This is a nice looking small toaster. And for $130 you would think it was good quality. However, I have owned two of these in the last calendar year and both of them have stopped functioning within a few months of purchase. When I contact The company to see about repair, there is no human to speak to, just a list of places around the country to get it fixed. None near me, of course. Save yourself the headache and purchase the SMEG. This thing is a piece of trash.

Broken already!

Do not buy this toaster. It is not even 6 months old and stopped working. So now I'm shopping for a new toaster.

Digital Stainless Steel Toaster

it's hard to really give a rating after only a weeks use. With that in mind its a very nice toaster, so far so good, toasts to perfection, and like the wide slots. Very attractive stainless steel finish. As mentioned hard to give a complete rating after a weeks use, that is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Sometimes things that are more expensive are worse

This is a reminder to the All-Clad team. Your stainless steel pots and pans are for cooking not beating each other over the head with. Something you were clearing doing when you built this toaster. What a terrible toaster. It's odd to design something clearly geared towards hip, jive, sleek, and slender millennials and then not make it long enough to fit sourdough slices. Of course we didn't realize this until weeks later since we had to take back the first toaster that broke after two toasts. The spring mechanism that held it down broke so we had to stand infront of the toaster and hold the lever down while we waited for it to toast. Which gave us lots of time to reflect on what a terrible toaster this was. After getting a replacement toaster thanks to William and or Sonoma we are now stuck with this piece of junk. I don't know where I'm going with this point being this thing sucks. The longest setting isnt enough to actually get any kind of toast on the bread so you have to hit it twice which rather than toast the bread it just dries it out without giving it any color. So instead of getting delicious toast in 2 minutes you get dry crumbly stale bread in 4. On top of all that my girlfriend at the time thought I was getting her an engagement ring for Christmas and instead I got her this toaster. So not only did she not get proposed to, which her whole family was waiting, but now she has bad toast every morning. As far as William Sonoma goes this is product is pretty standard. It's very expensive but designed for people who eat at Ewdergon or whatever that place is called.

Piece of Junk - going to Metal Scrap. Buying a Different Toaster ASAP!

Piece of Junk. Do not buy! This is a toaster that can't toast bread! If the setting is on medium, the bread is toasted on 1 side and not on the other. If you increase the setting, the toast is perfect on 1 side and black on the other. What is so complicated about toasting bread? Apparently something is and they haven't figured out how to do it yet!

This is my second toaster like this. The first one lasted for years. This one didn't make it 6 months. The lever to push down won't stay down.

For your bagels

Excellent toasting, especially impressed with a bagel that's toasted on the surface but remains chewy (not hard) on the inside! Brilliant!

Not pleased with this toaster. would not recommend

Item was returned. Did not toast evenly side to side or top to bottom. Had to manually rotate and turn bread frequently to get item toasted even close to uniform.
