Love this! Just used it today for pie crust; this made quick work of blending butter into my flour mix. Love this attachment!

Best KitchenAid Beater

Love this paddle. It is a game changer for mixing butter with flour for pastry dough but also works great for all your other baking needs. It's a little difficult to scrape clean but a small spatula makes quick work of your excess batter. I also love that it is stainless so I don't have to worry about enamel chipping off and ending up in my food.

Heavy Duty

I love how sturdy this attachment is. However it is too big for my machine and locks up against the bowl. I almost couldn’t get it unwedged. Also don’t think just because you have a 7 quart bowl that it will work. I gave it to a friend to try and same problem. I’m guessing it is for a professional/commercial version machine. Wish I knew if a smaller paddle/attachment is available because I really could use it.

Great for Bakers!

I was excited to try this pastry beater since I don't have a food processor large enough to make pie dough or piergoi. What a great addition for my mixer! It even worked for the one Christmas cookie I make which I always had trouble getting to mix porperly. Bought one for my daughter, the other cookie baker.

Awesome beater

I bought this a few weeks ago. Just used it today. It works fabulously cutting butter and mixing dough way better than the original beater that came with my mixer. It is real heavy. I was concerned if it would work with the 5 qt glass mixing bowl. Loved it!

Nice Creamy Texture

I bought this on a whim because it was on sale. I have another ice cream machine that requires freezing the bowl. The cream doesn’t get very creamy and remains fairly runny. I assumed all bowls of this type would result in the same outcome. This bowl does a much better job. The cream is actually creamy and a nice frozen texture. I like it a lot and I’m glad I bought it. I have the commercial lift mixer and it works fine with it. It fits so tightly, however, that I have to get my fiancé to attach the bowl and release it. Overall, it does a great job. I would buy it again even at full price.

Heavy & great paddle

I love the creaming job this paddle does. I feel like since I starting using it, batters are mixed even better than before and I only use this paddle now. This paddle is pretty heavy (compared to the standard one) which is a good thing. To me that says the steel is good quality and I have put it in the dishwasher multiple times with no rust issues. The only thing is that it is a little tougher to get all of the batter from in between the grooves. they need to make a small flexible spatula specifically for this to help get the batter out. Regardless of that I love this and wish I had found it sooner or that it had been made sooner. Very happy with this paddle!
