Use
- Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching the nonstick surface.
Care
- Allow to cool a bit before cleaning. The waffler is easier to clean when slightly warm.
- Avoid using harsh detergents, abrasive cleansers or scouring pads.
- To clean interior plates and overflow moat, wipe with a soft cloth.
- Clean exterior of machine with a damp cloth.
- Remove stubborn residue with a nonabrasive plastic scouring pad or nylon washing brush.
- Do not use spray-on nonstick coatings as this will affect the performance of the non-stick surface on the cooking plates.

I don’t know those are bad photos. I make amazing waffles with that machine. I totally recommend it. You dial-in on the little temperature and it turns off and sits off a little tiny alarm so you know when to pull the waffles. You don’t have to put oil on the butter or anything. It’s very easy to clean just wipe it down and that’s the end of that for me. It’s my favorite kitchen appliance next to their coffee machine. I have an espresso machine I love. . Broke during second use

I’m not sure what happened but my second time using it, it broke. I think it may have gotten overheated or something. I’m taking it back today. I think it’s a one time fluke honestly.

Hooray for classic waffles!

Classic waffle maker! I don’t care for Belgian waffles, and it’s tough to find a food quality classic one. This one makes really good, thin waffles and it’s easy to use and clean. My only reservation is that I wish it were the large, 4- square waffle maker size. I have grandchildren who want BIG waffles, and it saves a bit of time. Otherwise, it’s great.

This is the easiest waffle iron and I’ve had a few! No need to spray or oil the plates. Temperature controls ensure a toasty bake and it catches too big a pour. Glad I found it!

I make waffles every day. When the family waffle iron from the 50s broke, I made the mistake of throwing it away. I've since discovered that modern waffle irons are disposable and I've tried many different brands. This is the best of the bunch. Well-built, super easy to use and clean, forgiving if you over or under fill it, and a light coating of oil results in a wonderful slightly crispy texture. Also, this is one of the last of the American thickness (1/2") irons, which is the goldilocks between the too-thick Belgian-style (too doughy) and the too-thin Scandinavian-style (too crisp and cracker-like).

Great Waffles!

Works great. Have made the classic waffles in their recipe book and also made some with blueberries added. Both waffles turned out perfect first time!
