Use & Care
Use
- For best results, use cold, fresh milk.
- Never immerse the power base in water or liquid.
- Prior to use, ensure bottom of jug is dry before placing on power base.
Care
- Hand-wash jug, lid, lid seal, measuring cap and disc in warm, soapy water.
- Dry all pieces thoroughly.
- Wipe exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents such as steel wool or scouring pads.

Froths cold liquid

This is my 3rd frother and first Breville brand, and my least favorite of them all, especially for $200. This thing has a mighty sensitive temperature sensor. To be fair, It froths cold milk well, but anything other than cold liquid and it shuts off rather quickly. So if that’s all you’re going to use it for great, but if you’re trying to froth something warm or reheat your liquid expect it to shut down after like 10 seconds.

Large milk frother

What a fabulous buy. Able to froth more the one cup of milk at a time. Makes wonderful, delicious hot chocolate. Best thing I’ve bought in a long time. Oh and you can make a single cup if you wanted too.

No more burnt milk

I had a Nespresso frother and found it burned the milk and I had to scrap the bottom on a regular basis. I like latte and I ordered the Breville unit. I am trilled with it and the milk froth is thick and white. There are lots of options (chocolate milk) which I have not tried yet but looking forward to doing so this winter.

Lose the frother attachment and frother is useless

The frother does the job. But the frothing attachments are small and easy to lose. And once you lose the attachments, neither Williams Sonoma nor Breville can ship you a new one, because they are perpetually backordered. So good luck! Even a good product is useless if you can't order replacement parts when you need them.

Beautiful beautiful foam

This milk frother makes the most beautiful foam. Lite and fluffy. Coffee is better because of it. And being able to adjust the temperature means that you never scorch the milk.

Not frothing milk

I've tried it several times with 2% cow's milk and I get no froth at all. Disappointing.

Works well but much larger than expected.

It works with some caveats. The machine is neat, has a slot on the lid with a built in measuring cup to add chocolate or chai. It can make 1, 2 or 3 cups worth of milk at a time, which is nice though more than what I need. Unfortunately the foam is much more wet than expected, much closer to a latte even when using the cappuccino attachment. It's also quite loud, the first time I ran it I felt like it was going to take off. And it's so much bigger than the pictures make it out to be. I got it to replace a broken Aeroccino 2, and the visual size difference on the counter is huge. Otherwise, the milk temperature is good and it's easy to clean so far.

Actually gets the milk hot.

Actually gets the milk hot. I have struggled with the "timed" milk temp versions and this is the real one that actually goes to the temp you chose. Super easy clean up. Not sure if the metal is better than the cheaper versions, but this one cleans up easier!

Disappointing - BEST Frother, but starts to fail after about a year

We have had 3 of these. They are the best - when they work - all three of ours have failed so now I’m writing a review so you can know before you buy. As with anything, caveat emptor!
