Loved this, beautiful paninis. Easy to clean and understand settings. I couldn’t be happier

It takes too long to heat up

I recently purchased model BGR700 Sear and Press Grill to replace my old panini press. I like the features of the new press, but it takes 5 minutes for it to heat up. It’s just too long, specially in the morning when you are trying to have a quick breakfast. I would not recommend it based on this fact alone. My Ninja oven, in comparison, gets to temperature in less than a minute.

Make steak 🥩 indoors or cheese toast.

High quality. Hi end brand. Bigger than web photo. Practical. Powerful.

Needs a better instruction manual

I like the unit, but l wish it came with a better instruction manual. I had to download the manual for a competitor’s product in order to better use my unit

It is okay since it does not come with waffle plates which I purchased separately.

Performance its a 10 but...

I love breville, I will try every product from them, they have very powerfully , good looking small appliances but i had to return this because of the quality of plates. Being interchangeable makes them prone to damage as they have contact with steel when rotating them. I wish they would improve their coatings durability and of course it would be great they would become toxic free company . A lot of people stay away of certain brands because of materials used in cookware. Breville would be unstoppable with toxic free products.

Really enjoying my new Breville product

I bought my Breville Sear and Press Grill last week. I have used it to make Paninis twice, Steak and grilled veggies, fish and grilled potato slices and quesadillas. Most have turned out well - it is a bit of a learning process. I keep looking for a cookbook with recipes for this device, but cannot find one. Is there something available? (And I have raved about this so much my best friend is planning on buying one!)

Best Panini Grill EVER & Waffle Maker Too!

Yes it is on the pricey side, but well worth it. You definitely gotta order the waffle maker attachments to enjoy the full benefits of this machine. So easy to clean and use. Truly amazing. I have owned so many other panini machines and this one by far is the best of the best. Perfect sandwiches, burgers, waffles, etc. every time. I would have saved so much money and space if I would have purchased this one before buying all the other cheap ones I bought before. There’s a Hispanic saying, “Lo barrato salé carró!!” Meaning, “anything cheap always ends up costing us more in the end!’

Great buy

Love it. We have noticed that the lower plate grills the sandwich faster than the top so we turn the temp down on the bottom plate. We also purchased the waffle plates which make great waffles.
