13-Cup Food Processor with Dicing Kit

I love it I can make so much more with teh diceing parts and sherds like nothings there I use it so much in cooking andprep time is cut more then half when im1st got it was took me some time to get all the things togo graet and so easy to use and all

Not built to last

I really loved this food processor at first — it worked well and was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with the quality of the bowl and lids. After barely a year of careful use, they started falling apart. The lids no longer attach properly to the bowls unless I use straps, which makes the whole unit frustrating and impractical to use. I always handled it with care, so it’s very disappointing that the design isn’t more durable.

Love the hinged lid also the black cover lid

It would be a higher rating...but my issue is with the metal chopping blade.the bottom portion of that blade absolutely needs to be flush with the bottom of the work bowl in order to do a proper job. I put several cloves of garlic to be minced before I added my avocados. This was a very soft mixture and it took longer than it should have to puree on high speed to avoid pieces of garlic. I previously owned 2 different brands and their metal blade performed the same way, so this was important for me to have an improved performance !

Great idea poor execution

It was my Christmas wish, and my husband got it for me and I absolutely loved it but the other day I Was slicing up vegetables for salsa and the spring that holds the lid Closed snapped And now my machine won’t close and therefore won’t run so I’m very sad when it flung open, it slung the little round plastic pieces that pushes stuff through the lid which cracked when hitting the floor so that is broken too

great appliance

I have been using this appliance for several different uses and I’m very impressed with the motor Capabilities and the attachments allowing for different uses. I use it a lot for biscuit dough and chopping vegetables. I am very happy I purchased it.

Do not recommend - Consumes more time

After spending over 250 dollars, I am disappointed. I did not get what I was looking for. It requires chopping my vegetables before I can put it them through. Tomatoes, cucumbers etc have to be cut, kind of makes it more time consuming. There is a lot of jamming that happens when I am chopping or slicing which makes it messy taking parts apart and cleaning. This adds more time to the chopping. The parts, especially the lid is made of plastic which can break easily while attaching and detaching with the main unit. My lid no longer attaches to the unit. I have had it for a while but used just couple times due to its tedious chopping and cleaning process. Past the return window at William Sonoma so can't even return to them. I would not recommend this product

Falling short of expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Interesting product. Never owned one before or even used one before. Kind of frustrated that I can’t put normal size of cucumber in to be sliced. Everything has to be cut first which seems to defeat some of the purpose. Also on the first use when I was shredding a block of cheese, it jammed up frequently under the lid and then I noticed a piece of plastic broke off on the chute. Couldn’t find the piece so I ended up throwing the batch of cheese I just shredded. Had hoped it would prove to be indispensable, but it is falling short of my expectations.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this Food Processor as a Christmas gift, and so far I love it, especially the dicing feature. There was definitely a learning curve, but the Kitchen Aid online videos were a great resource.
