Not worth the money!

Died after 2 years. For the price it should last lknger. Will buy a cheap throw away for replacement. Will probably last just as long.

Premium price, sub-par performance

I have owned three of these in the past 10 years. The first lasted almost 4 years and the control would not switch back to normal toasting instead of bagel toasting. The second toaster lasted 3 years and it gave up the ghost when the "little more" stopped working and then it would not raise the finished toast. I just threw the third toaster in the trash when it started sparking and smoking and emitting a burning electrical smell this morning when I attempted to toast two slices of bread. I am so disappointed. I paid premium prices for what I thought were premium toasters and I now will just go out and buy a $20 toaster which will probably outlast the last three combined.

Good but could be even better!

Excellent, well made and attractive Toaster. I would have rated 5 stars if it had the capability of sounding an alert when the toast is done. The owners manual states that it does have this capability but my toaster will not sound the alert. I called Breville for assistance and was told this model did NOT have it.

Disappointed again!

I had an exact model of this toaster for about 8 years before it died. At that time I was shocked as most toasters in my lifetime lasted way longer than that. I purchased again because it was the only one I could find in that configuration besides the at the time new Smeg which didn't find my kitchen style. This one has lasted about 3 years before the middle elements went out. So disappointing! I would have thouf=ght when people started to complain that Breville would have fixed this issue.

Best Toaster I’ve ever had.

I love this toaster. It’s the 3rd one I’ve bought in 10 years. I’ll buy another when this one dies too. Electronics need redesigned so they last longer.

Does Not Last

Bought the toaster two years ago. It was nice while it lasted, though it takes a long time to brown toast. Unfortunately, the electronics failed and had to discard. Overall a piece of junk. Have had much cheaper toasters that have lasted forever.
