Breville Bambino® Plus Espresso Machine

Don't buy this product

This is my 3rd Bambino Plus Expresso Machine. The first one quit after 6 months and was replaced. The second one lasted about 2 1/2 years - just long enough to be out of warranty and the 3rd one lasted 3 years and quit working while I was using it. I have religiously cleaned and descaled - even though I only use it once a week for Sunday Lattes. The staff at William sonoma were rude when I went into the store and talked to them. $399 is a lot to spend when a product lasts 3 years or less. Many of the reviews I read said this happened to them and it quits working around that 3 year mark. Great taste but not worth the problems. Calling Breville was of no help. I did everything to do a reset and even that did not work. This product needs more testing and adjustments.

So happy with this machine!

Excellent espresso machine! As it said in the description, it heats up in 3 seconds and is easy to use. It took a couple of tries to get the correct amount of coffee in the portafiller -and tamped down, but after that it has been smooth sailing. Great espresso with beautiful crema. It was nice to get away from filters and be able to make just the amount of coffee desired. Well worth the price.

I love the Breville Bambino plus and smart program grinder

The machines work flawlessly. From the selection of grinds, to the pre-infusion, to the espresso. I am very satisfied with my purchase and so will you.

Surprised

The coffee tastes great. Quality control has slipped. The filter baskets don't fit easily into the portafilter. I have to use a knife or screwdriver to remove filter basket to clean after use. I've used breville for many years and this never happened before.

Cool features but makes a tiny amount of espresso per shot!

I like my Bambino Plus and have figured out how to bend its will to mine. I like a large latte with several shots of espresso and in order to get the quantity I want, I have to run the machine twice, after having customized the brew time to the longest allowable time. Other than that, the nearly instantaneous heat-up time and automatic milk frothing features are great.

Do not buy

I hate this machine. It so light you have to hold it down when putting coffee on and off. Horrible coffee also

Do not purchase Breville Bambino

The machine had a leak and when we googled it, there was an entire page devoted to this model having this issue. Obviously, the leak is well documented and is a continuing problem. I have returned it to Williams Sonoma, which was not an easy process and have yet to receive a refund.

Wonderful Espresson

It's about a month old and I have zeroed in on the grind, best basket, and warm up tips to make a terrific espresso. Since this machine is instant heat it's best to warm it up by running water through it. BTW it's in the setup guide. Foaming milk is simple, though for me it makes a bit too much. The resulting milk is frothy and warm. The only challenge, and I read it in other reviews, is the difficulty removing the puck from the machine. I'm hoping it will loosen in another month. Overall very happy

Excellent machine at a good price

Great machine. Easy to use. I pull shots manually for precision but it's pretty good on auto as well.
