Won't toast both sides of the bread evenly

I thought if I spent $200, I'd get a toaster that would toast both sides of the bread evenly. As other reviewers have stated, it's stuck in Bagel Mode: One side gets toasted and the other doesn't. I've pulled whatever hair I have remaining out of head trying to set it up so it will stop operating in Bagel Mode but it won't toast both sides of the bread evenly no matter what combination of buttons I push. Looks great and toasts bagels and artisan bread very well, but for $200 + it should function properly.

Stylish Toaster That Works Perfectly

Poor Quality

The metal liner inside my toaster came apart and is hanging sideways making it unusable. Basically a $250 toaster in the trash.

Third Time a Charm

I needed a bright white toaster & I love the look. The first two I purchased only toasted one side of the bread. The inner panel was not doing its job. Wm Sonoma was wonderful to test yet another one for me, and it looks like it will do the job. Hopefully the third time is a charm!

Beauty and Brains!

This toaster is so cute!! But the fun part is how well it works. Toasting bagels and bread is a breeze and the lever very easy to work. Absolutely obsessed!!
