- Machine has integrated maintenance programs for rinsing coffee system, rinsing milk system, cleaning milk system, changing filter, cleaning machine and descaling machine.
- To ensure frother always works properly, clean it after preparing milk. Machine will display prompt to clean milk system after each time milk is prepared, but it will not prompt you to rinse frother.
- Removable drip tray and coffee grounds container are top-rack dishwasher safe.
- Wipe surface of machine clean with soft, damp cloth.

Best coffee to make all day long!

BREAKS REGULARLY - REPAIR WARRANTIED ONLY 3 MONTHS

(1) On the one hand, love this product. It makes great coffee and a variety of espresso drinks. (2) Software is HORRIBLE and could never get it to work with my network. (3) EXPENSIVE to maintain. Just after 3 years...got an "E6" message...easy to send in, but it will cost around $500. They warranty it for 3 months. Please read this again, THREE months -- I remember thinking at the time, "wow, not a quality company in terms of standing behind their work." Here I am 9 months after getting the machine back from repair...E6 is appearing again. Another $500 to fix for a 3 month warranty again. These machines are not cheap (around 4K), then factor in repairs and you are looking at about $1000 to own the machine per year. AND the inconvenience of sending it in on a regular basis (my experience) to get it fixed. Talked to customer service. They were good about telling me how much it would cost. COMPLETELY lacking empathy. Asked to speak to a manager. Still waiting to hear back. So, on the one hand, really glad I bought the machine...love it when it works. NOT looking forward to owning it into the future, given the issues of having it break down with the same error (E6) on what is becoming a regular occurence.

Two Steps Back

This is my third Jura in 25 years and my least favorite of all the machines. Smallest water container and the programming to make a large cup of coffee is ridiculous--it makes two smaller cups. But, now you can't make a smaller cup without standing there and stopping the process. Previously, it was a single or double tap on the coffee button to make the size you wanted. Also, coffee still has a bitter note even after using it for six weeks. I use to look forward to my morning coffee. Can't say that I do so now.

Expensive, great coffee, do some research

I have the Z10 almost one month. It's expensive. It makes great coffee after experimenting quite a bit. Do some research into what quite expensive cleaning materials and filters you will need regularly. Understand that all cold espresso drinks drip out VERY S L O W L Y (it took me 3 weeks of research to finally find the explanation). It needs TLC - when done for the day, and if you make even one drink you will need to empty the drip tray and coffee grounds tray and refill the water canister. If you make one or more milk drinks, you will need to clean the milk system (with expensive milk cleaning crystals - equivalents are much more reasonably priced) (Why didn't they just design it so it would steam clean itself??). The expensive water filters have identical inexpensive equivalents. And nowhere except on YouTube does it tell you to reach under an internal flap to clean accumulated grounds from an internal baffle. I haven't done a full cleaning or descaling yet but again there are inexpensive equivalent cleaning and descaling products. Bottom line - after the learning curve, it will make great coffees.
