Use & Care
Use
- Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
- Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone, metal and glass.
- It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.
Care
- Hand-wash with warm water and mild detergent.
- Rinse and dry immediately.
- Sharpen once or twice per month. For best results, we recommend using pull-through sharpener to maintain ideal blade angle.
- Store knives in safe place to protect edges and prevent injury.

Poor Handles

I put these on my wedding registry and after one use of hand washing the handles dried out immediately. WS thankfully took them back as I could tell these were not going to hold up long term.

WS steak knives

The wooden handles on these are awful. After one handwashing(did not use dishwasher as directed) the wood on the handle began to swell, and the light varnish disappeared leaving the wood feeling rough and enlarged. the adhesive also began to ooze out from under the wood. Would not purchase!!!!! WS did accept the return and refunded the purchase, however they need to find another producer or stop selling this item!

Not what I expected

We loved these knives with the first use. Cut meat like nothing we had ever experienced. Washed and dried them according to directions and on second use, handles felt dried out and rough and the blades already seemed dull. Very, very disappointed.

These are an outstanding value, especially for their quality and design. We have bought many steak knives over the years (we’ve been married for 54 years) and without a doubt these will serve us for another 54!
