Rowenta JR4031U1 Steam Iron 2N1 Duo Force + Iron Mat

Fantastic all in one steamer & iron!

I absolutely love this steamer/iron combo! It works so well to steam anything and everything because the water well is separate from the handle, so I can easily maneuver the handle any direction to get the steaming perfect. I also love the trigger so it’s only putting out steam when you’re ready and not just constantly boiling like cheaper steamers so. This also means my clothes aren’t damp when I’m done - which is a huge benefit to this steamer. I’ve used it only once as an iron (to iron a queen duvet cover) on a traditional ironing board and it worked great for that too and was easy to use. At 5’7”, I didn’t have any issues with the angle of the handle as some reviews said. Also, there’s a mat included for small ironing jobs that you could easily do on a counter or bed - I’ve not used that yet

Cumbersome

It’s light weight and easy to iron with although all the cords are cumbersome to get set up and put away

Great steamer & iron !!

I've used it once and it has been good. I ike that it is not bulky and not heavy since the tank of water is separate. Hope it last as long as my other Rowenta irons that are made in Germany.

Overall good

I bought this on QVC. The operation of the iron is very good. Size is great and the steam is excellent. I’m a quilter so it does the job. The only complaint I have is ergonomics of design. The handle is set too high and the angle hurts my wrist. I understand why you did that just for the water tank reason And the sleek look it may have, but even in your photographs it shows that the ironing surfaces below waist. That is abnormal because most of us set are earning surface closer to waist height. I hope in future generations you will look at the ergonomics closely and how it fits the hand and wrist position. Another flaw is that the two steam hose sticks up adding more insult to injury of a wrist. You should’ve tested it with normal people

Amazing Iron-Steamer

I love this thing. It seems to provide the function of a professional steam iron at a fraction of the cost. You don’t have to worry about fabric settings… plug and play- iron!

Another Rowenta star product

I really find it very comfortable to use this new iron. It is taking me a while to get used to the light weight and the separate water tank. The resting iron holder is ergonomic and suits me well. I find myself taking less time to complete a basket full of fresh laundry that needs to be pressed or steamed. I have four other Rowenta irons bought over 20-30 years and they were all top performing work horses! I can absolutely recommend this new product from Rowenta.

Surprisingly small but super handy for small jobs. Heats up fast and produces an effective amount of steam.
