    Summary

    In a modern homage to the jewel hues and ornate florals of Persian carpets, our Elise rug reflects beauty in a refined palette and pattern. The stylized vines, blossoms and borders are expertly hand knotted in soft Afghan wool, which is artfully yarn-dyed to re-create the faded patina of an antique carpet and sheared into a low pile.

    • Hand knotted from yarn-dyed 100% Afghan wool, prized for its lush softness and subtle luster.
    • Sheared to a low pile (69 knots per sq. inch).
    • Hand finished with fringe on both ends.
    • We recommend our Heavyweight Rug Pad with this style; latex-backed pad (sold separately) can be trimmed to fit exact rug dimensions.

    Care

    • Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into roots of fibers.
    • Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight.
    • Do not pull loose ends. Clip them with scissors.
    • Rotate rug occasionally to equalize wear.
    • Clean up spills immediately; if liquid, blot with a clean, undyed cloth by pressing firmly around spill to absorb as much as possible.
    • For hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
    • Store rug by rolling it front side out and wrapping in cloth for protection. Do not fold or put in airtight plastic bag. Place in a dry, well-ventilated area.
