Great product.

Excellent grill pan. I move to a place with an electric stove. I had to buy an induction hot plate to be able to use my cast iron or Le Creuset pans. It has been a huge adjustment for me, but this griddle pan works perfectly

Fabulous piece

I love love LOVE this skillet pan! The size is generous without being too big. I like the one-piece design (not an attachment style handle) and the performance is great. The grill portion is deeper than I thought it would be, making the cook process easier, faster and more consistent. I was also happily surprised to find Williams Sonoma had the best price for the pan. I will be adding WS to my list of places to check when searching for future kitchen purchases.

Lodge Blacklock Grill Pan

An excellent grill pan that’s been in use since it arrived. The size of the pan makes it easy to grill fish, steaks, chicken breasts, kabobs, vegetables etc. In fact I’m using it again tonight.

Easy to cook in

We have used it cooking fish and burgers. Both came out great. Differently recommend the product .

Poorly secured in shipping box

Beautiful pan however shipping box flimsy and handle stuck out of box.

Poor Product or Poor Care Instructions

Awful product. The care instructions listed here are NOT accurate. I tried washing with soap and water after making chicken breast. The meat was stuck to the pan and would not come off. Had to soak for several days for the grime to come off and use a brillow pad. Now the pan is rusted. Tried to be return and was told that this happens often and to go to blacklock site to purchase their product to remove the rust. More instructions on how to use this pan should be implicitly displayed before purchasing. Very disappointed

A cook’s must have!

I love this Lodge Blacklock Triple Seasoned Cast Iron Square Grill Pan. It works well on my induction cooktop. I use it to sear fish and meats cooked in my sous vide. It provides even heat distribution and lovely grill marks to finish the presentation. It is very easy to clean. I like that it is not as heavy as many other cast iron pans and lays flat on the cooking surface. Truly a cook’s must have!

Pre-seasoning not effective for non-stick finish

Disappointed in this item. We have other cast iron cookware, including other Lodge items, and we needed a grill pan. We were excited about this one because of the emphasis on it being pre-seasoned (triple seasoned, in fact) and lighter weight than typical cast iron. Unfortunately, it hasn't lived up to our expectations. Despite the emphasis on it being triple seasoned and thus supposedly providing a natural non-stick finish, that hasn't been our experience. Our food sticks quite a bit, and then much scrubbing is required after we're done to remove the stuck-on residual food from the pan. It also seems to produce an unusual amount of smoke when we're cooking, something we haven't experienced before when cooking with our other cast iron pans. Wouldn't recommend.
