    Use & Care

    Use

    • Ideal for use on any type of cooktop, including induction.
    • Oven and broiler safe to 600°F.

    Care

    • Wash pan before first use.
    • Allow pan to cool prior to cleaning.
    • Hand-wash to maintain pan's beauty. Rinse off excess food with warm water. Soak in warm soapy water, then wash with sponge or soft cloth. Use nylon scouring pad for more difficult cleaning. Rinse with warm water and dry immediately to prevent spotting.
    • Some stains and stuck-on food may take more effort to remove.
    • To remove discoloration like blue or rainbow coloring, use soft cloth or sponge to wipe pan with white vinegar.
    • To remove cloudy-white hard water spots, boil solution of 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water in pan.
    • To remove burnt food, sprinkle surface generously with baking soda, add water and bring to a boil. Use wooden spoon to loosen food particles from surface.
    • To remove tough-to-clean spots or marks like burnt fat, protein shadows and charred food, clean with non-abrasive, non-chlorine cleanser, like All-Clad cookware cleaner, Bar Keepers Friend or Bon Ami. Mix cookware cleanser and small amount of water to form paste. Use soft cloth or sponge to apply paste, rubbing in circular motion. Rinse with warm water and dry immediately. Repeat if necessary, allowing paste to soak on pan before scrubbing.
    • Avoid using oven cleaners, steel wool, steel scouring pads, harsh detergents and detergents containing chlorine bleach, which can cause damage.
    • Use nylon scrubbing pads only on stainless-steel surfaces; do not use on nonstick surfaces. Never place hot pan under cold water, as this can cause warping.
    • With the exception of preheating, empty pan should not be left on hot burner, as this can cause damage.

    Well-made, dependable

This pan is well-made and heats evenly. I appreciate that there are handles on both sides, since it can be heavy with food in it. The screen is a very nice accessory. I previously had another brand that was the same size, and the handle (only one) came off, because it was not properly attached. The rivets on this one, are substantial and more dependable.

    Great addition!

Excellent pan! Even cooking and easy cleaning makes it my go to saute pan

    Nearly perfect, with one flaw.

Great for searing meat on high heat. Splatter shield is fairly effective, and it lets excess steam/moisture escape so it doesn't thwart an attempt to get a nice crust on a steak. My only complaint is that the handle of the splatter shield sticks up at a higher angle from the pan handle. You can't grab both the splatter shield handle and the pan handle with one hand. The pan would be perfect if the shield handle nestled right on top of the pan handle and you could pick up both with one hand.

Loving the Deep Saute Pan and Splatter Guard

I'm loving my new Saute Pan. One pot cooking because of it's size. Happy that im no longer cooking with teflon/non-stick chemicals!

    Enjoy cooking

I have many All Clad pans, they are always a joy to cook with! Quality that last a lifetime! Yes they cost a little more but with the interest I have with preparing my meals for me it’s worth it. One thing is they never disappoint! Enjoy!

    Best present of Christmas.

This was the best present I gave this past Christmas. Perfect sauté pan that we use for all our cooking needs. The splatter guard is fantastic. I never thought I’d use it as much as I do. Highly recommend.

    Great pan poor handle design

Returned it once I opened the box and lifted it by the handle! The handle design is too narrow and the middle grove and high edges hurt my hand while holding the pan empty and without lid. Change the handle design and I will definitely reconsider it. I love All Clad!

    4-quart pan s really a 3-quart pan

We ordered a 4-quart sauté pan. The pan has 4 qt stamped on its bottom but in reality, the pan only holds 3 quarts of liquid.

    Great pan

I own several pieces of All Clad 5 ply. Thispan like the others does a superb job. The splatter lid is a nice addition for when the solid lid isn't essential.
