Ratio Six Coffee Maker Series 2

Love it!

I love how it looks. I love its ease of operation, I love how hot my coffee stays hot to the last drop. I feel it is worth the price.

This is not a Paid Promotion Review

We purchased this Coffee Maker November of 2022 and it is already broken. The Coffee Grounds get into the coffee,even with a proper filter. Now the Coffee Temperature is not consistent, first cup Luke warm and then the second cup hot. I have reached out to Ratio and found out we have to pay to insure and ship back their defect product. I really hope William Sonoma shows this unpaid review so a consumer can make a proper choice before spending so much money.

Almost Hit The Mark here!

The unit is nicely made much though went into its design. Very intuitive easy to operate made solid and best of all makes a great cup of coffee. Yet with all the engineering that went in to the main unit the thermal carafe was neglected. The carafe top is cheap flimsy water gets inside of it when washed. Pouring is awful, being slow and dripping down the side. Ratio almost hit the mark here with the Six model but lost the sight of quality with the carafe shame.

Pretty Unit but not OK if you Like Your Coffee Hot

Pretty machine on your counter top, no doubt. But the temperature of the coffee once brewed is sub par. Even with preheating the carafe, which we do every morning with boiling water from our tea kettle, the coffee reads 178-180 degrees immediately once brewing is complete, far below the "just shy of 200 degrees" stated on their website as "typical". Ratio customer service was responsive, but couldn't seem to believe me that the machine wasn't brewing the coffee hot enough. Even after a Ratio customer service agent admitted to receiving multiple complaints of brew temperature not being hot enough. After a week of back and forth with Ratio, (for a machine I had had for approximately 1 month) they told me I would have to go through the warranty process to see if anything was really wrong with my machine. Very disappointing that such a high-end coffee maker can't brew hot coffee in accordance with the manufacturer's own statements of 'ideal temperature' on its website.

Great cup of coffee

This makes a seriously great cup, and I love how warm the thermal carafe keeps the coffee. The trivet helps everything stay clean. The only reason I took off a star is the pour on the carafe can be annoyingly bad. I put up with it for that delicious coffee though. Maybe one day they will put out a new carafe and this system will be perfect.

A very simple way to make great tasting coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This definitely isn't your traditional gadgetry coffee maker, no bells and whistles, but that's what makes it great. You can brew a half or full pot and that's about all there is to it. The coffee maker does take a rather long time to brew but that's what makes the coffee taste its best along with the multiple water sprays versus a single drip hole. Once your coffee is made just put the lid on and you have a heated thermos of great tasting coffee, when you remove both pots it's definitely best to use two hands (the top just sits on the bottom without locking) and use the trivet type piece to hold any remaining coffee from the grounds. This coffee maker is a bit on the pricey side but it has just the right brew time and temperature to really bring out the flavors in your coffee roast.

Very Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ratio Six coffee maker Starting to enjoy The Ratio Six Coffee Maker started to enjoy once I figured out how to get over the defect. This machine makes a really good cup of coffee. May even be the best cup I've had. One problem with the Coffee Maker, the Carafe. The Carafe does not pour well. It has to be at the right angle to pour properly and it gets worse once you near the end. This is why I didn't do 5 stars. Once you figure out how to use the Carafe without error, its perfect

Beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our Ratio six coffee maker a couple of weeks ago and I just now able to use it. Period . I was very impressed with the beautiful Matt stainless steel finish and the beautiful design of the ratio six coffee maker. It is very easy to use and to clean. The brew time is very fast with the end result being a very smooth and Hot cup of delicious coffee. The brewing is very consistent with One cup or a pot for. Even our late risers can enjoy a cup of hot excellent coffee.

Coffee snob transformed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll admit that I am a complete coffee snob. I am always hesitant on trying new coffee makers, as my standards are super high. Ratio Six exceeded all of my expectations. I love that I have options on cup size and that he hot water is evenly dispersed. I have never had coffee this good, outside of a coffee shop. I actually like the coffee I can now make from home better. The taste that comes with a cup of pour over coffee is something I have been missing. Ratio Six is, by far, the BEST coffee maker I have ever used.

Beyond expectations!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To say that this coffee maker is phenomenal is an understatement. It's so basic yet so perfect. With the touch of one button you get perfectly flavored coffee at the perfect temperature. A HUGE bonus is that once made, the coffee in the container stayed that perfect temperature for over 8 hours!! Ratio seriously thought of everything when making this thing! It even comes with a stand to put it on so you don't have to place it on a kitchen surface. Cleaning it is a breeze. It's soooo worth it, you won't regret it!!
