The anti-scale water filter cartridge for use with Lift, Lift Plus and Lift Xtra models is specially designed by Laurastar's Swiss engineers, allows you to filter tap water before it is used for ironing.
- By preventing limescale, it prolongs the life of your iron. By filtering salts, it improves steam quality.
- Anti-corrosive, it also prevents damage to boiler components.
- The cartridge should be replaced when the red light on your station is flashing.
- For use with models: Laurastar Lift Xtra, Lift Plus, and Lift.

Within 30 days, you may return most items for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request). Please note that returned items must be in new condition.

Returns of kitchen electrics and cutlery (knife sets, single knives, cutting boards, knife sharpeners and knife storage) may require extra information and safety instructions. To initiate your return, please contact us at 888.922.4108 or visit us at your local store.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 cannot be returned. We also cannot accept returns of any food products, which are considered final sale items.

Experience changing filter for first time

I like the ease of just popping in a new cartridge. This was the first time doing this so had to read instruction booklet to do the whole process.

I'm not sure how frequently the filters need replacing as I'm still a new user and have the filter installed that came with my Lift Plus. As long as they last a while, I'm happy to comply with the LauraStar recommendations. My feeling is these replacement filters could be an expensive maintenance requirement.

Replacing cartridges

I forgot to rinse out the old water when I replaced the new cartridge and found out real quick why I need to do that! I got yellow spots on my clothes! So be sure and rinse old water out when replacing cartridges!
