Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

Within 30 days, you may return most items for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request). Please note that returned items must be in new condition.

Returns of kitchen electrics and cutlery (knife sets, single knives, cutting boards, knife sharpeners and knife storage) may require extra information and safety instructions. To initiate your return, please contact us at 888.922.4108 or visit us at your local store.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97 cannot be returned. We also cannot accept returns of any food products, which are considered final sale items.

Steam queen

Steam! As long as you push the steam toward the floor purging the condensation from the hose, you’ll have no splatters or spits from the iron. No black water dripping.

A great investment

Heard about the LauraStar ironing system thru a Facebook group so I did some research. I have had it for about a month now so I feel I can give a thorough review. Setup was super simple. It heats up fast and works great on a variety of fabrics. Definitely enjoy being able to reverse the direction of the fan.

Ironing system

This is a great ironing system. Easy to use and store. It takes the same account of space as a regular ironing board. I like to iron in general, but this system made me fall in love. I was ironing a silk dress with lots of pins and tucks, it was a breeze. I couldn’t have done it with a regular iron. I’m so glad that I got it. I gave it 4 stars because it came in chipped and the water purifier beads were all over in the box.

Makes Ironing Super Easy

Ironing with the Smart U is out of this world! I iron everything including my cotton sheets. This system makes the process fast and everything wrinkle free! I love the fan feature and the power of the steam. The ironing board cover is also great. It has lines to guide in the folding of your garments for a consistent width to fit nicely in the drawers. Investment in this unit is absolutely worth it! I highly recommend this ironing system.

Wonderful machine

Received this ironing system as a gift and what a wonderful gift! A steam iron that doesn't leak water over my fabric or clothes. As a quilter, I have not found a better iron to get my seams flat. The best part of this system is that the steam is not hot, but so very effective! Love this ironing system!

Yowza irons the Miele FashionMaster flat

I’ll preface this review to admit that I hate ironing and if I didn’t love linen and crisp cottons I’d abandon the entire chore. Over the years I’ve owned several brands of bigbox stand alone irons and steamers. I’ve also owned the Miele FashionMaster System. This became my introduction to iron and board systems. After having many issues with it; spitting water, broken wheel, leaking - I decided to try the Laurastar Smart unit. My experience with the LS has been amazing. It produces a much finer steam and penetrates the fibers with the board system much better. I’ve cut my iron time by half using this system and results are professional finished. LS could improve on the reservoir size and wheel system - however those are minor quibbles. The LS system is miles above anything else that I’ve found to make the chore of ironing bearable. As a testament to the system - I find that I’m ironing in less time and ironing more garments and sheets.

Larastar Smart U

The Larastar Smart U ironing system really makes ironing clothing/fabric yardage enjoyable. The blowing fan eliminates wrinkles. The SensiSteam is extremely helpful. Customer Service is excellent--I was able to speak to a real person, who connected me to the person who answered all my questions, offered me an alternative solution if I wasn't happy, and offered additional helpful tips.

Laurastar Smart U

My husband says it looks steampunk, between the hose that goes from the water reservoir to the iron, and of course, all the steam noises it makes. The Laurastar app says I've used this steam iron system for 9 hours now, and I’ve only had the unit for 3 weeks. I think I’m ironing everything now, it’s such a pleasure to use. It’s easy to set up and take down, and I love the active ironing board! I look forward to laundry day. Between being able to freshen up some items that aren’t ready to launder yet, using steam of course, to ironing dress pants, dress shirts, my lined cotton dresses to sheets (okay, I only iron the pillow cases and edges). As a bonus, I’m no longer taking my laundry to the dry cleaners. This is the best iron I’ve ever owned, and I had my grandmother’s iron from the 50s, which was built like a tank. But this steam iron system is the best of both worlds, a great iron, a fantastic steamer and an amazing active ironing board, which is a game changer. 5 stars, absolutely no regrets, and yeah, it feels kinda steampunk!
