A treasure for sure in the kitchen

I have owned this cutting board for 14 or 15 years. We use it every day and it is beautiful to just leave out against our backsplash. I just bought a second one for my son as a gift.

Disappointing. Poor wood grain raised and rough.

After one use the wood became dried out and the grain raised. I only rinsed it with warm water and a soft sponge. Also the wood stain came off onto the sponge and towel when dried, that should not happen on any carving board . Don’t waste your money on this.

    Cutting and carving board review

Great size for a large roast or turkey. Nice weight. Nice design. Lovely color Finish to the touch was a bit rough, was not as smooth as I expected it to be for a board right out of the box.

    Great carving board

This carving board does the job. Very well made, doesn’t slide all over the counter. Guests were impressed. I’ve been looking for a good one for quite a while, finally found it.

    Just awful

I had been eyeing this carving board for several months and finally went for it. I was excited to use it this Thanksgiving and thought it would be the perfect addition to our kitchen. However, it was just awful. The counter underneath was soaked in turkey juices and we didn’t know why. Turns out that it had cracked that very first time using it. Never been soaked, just a quick wash and prompt drying right before use. There was also very rough grain as mentioned in a previous review. I don’t think this wood was cured thoroughly. For over $200, I expect much better quality and not have to try to salvage it after a single use. Spend your money on a better product.

I've owed one for 20 years!

I love this cutting board and we use it often! It has held up remarkably well. It is large and we use the back for rolling out pizza dough. It is a go to wedding gift for me.

Best and Favorite Cutting Board Ever!!

I have owned this cutting board for 5 years! Holds large cuts of meat and turkey's still for carving. Husband hates to use any board other than this one!! Catches all the juice for pouring up for making sauces, when the meat has been cooked on the Green Egg or water smoker. Cleans up easy with nylon brush and soap and water. Once dried, Oil with butcher block oil before putting away! Will stay looking like new for years to come!

    Raised grain

I received this cutting board as a gift. I followed all care instructions to the letter, but after two uses, the grain rose and the surface is rough. In order to get it back to its smooth finish, I have to use steel wool, which doesn't work on the little wood pyramids. I can't figure out what happened; I never soaked it, just ran hot water briefly over it to remove the juices.
