We had a cheap one before we got this one, and I’m so glad I spent the extra to get this. My kids use it almost daily.

I would have returned this

Cheap grill plate material; exterior gets too hot; takes way too long to heat up snd cool down. Would have returned but could not as was a “final sale” no return accepted. That said at least it didn’t cost me full price so I am stuck with it until I find a suitable replacement then off it goes to goodwill or the local dump. 3 stars are for ease to order and prompt delivery- not the grill.

Versatile kitchen appliance

The Griddler 5 is a very versatile kitchen appliance, is easy to use and makes good sandwiches. I like how quickly it heats up and how easy it is to clean.

Same Old Outstanding Performance in a New Package

We bought our new Cuisinart Griddler to replace our old Cuisinart Griddler which we had for about 12 years. Reason is that it has more bells and whistles, i.e. digital readout and settings. The old griddler worked great and has been donated to give others an equal experience. This is a great product and great design.

Shower present

Bought as a shower present but also hsve one at home and we.use it weekly.

This is my second one. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this grill. Super easy to clean. Works very well. I literally use it every day. Pro tip: don’t buy knock off replacement plates. They fit but they don’t work as well.

The solution at last ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been frustrated searching for a way to prepare large, relatively thin, eight ounce ground beef patties for my burger of choice, a patty melt. Shrinkage and splattering were major problems no matter what method I tried. After a fair amount of research, I settled on the Cuisinart Griddler Five. What a delight !!!!! The patties cook quickly and shrinkage is so minimal that rigging up a beautifully grilled patty that fits perfectly between a couple large slices of rye bread is a snap.The objectionable fat is kept clear because it collects between the ridges on the grill plates, and cleanup is a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boufmght it about 1 month ago and like it very much as a grill. I'll be checking it's use as a griddle this weekend and expect it to preform well. I just wish it had more temperature control options.

Is this the new full time addition to the kitchen?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't used it much yet, but it's surprising sturdy as well as good looking. It seems to be level which is obviously a must. I originally night it for the purpose of needing a panini press, but I'm so excited to see what else this badboy can do!

Don’t touch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t touch the outside of grill…I did read that… but one would think that Cuisinart would put some sort of coating on the top plate that one presses down the panini so as not to burn one’s hand…. It is automatic response for the user to want to straighten out the top lid plate and press down…perhaps putting some sort of silicone coating on the outside should be thought about… to prevent burns.
