Low quality

dysfunctional after 4 years use; no water coming out of the portafilter

Perfect espresso machine!

I looked at a few espresso machines before purchasing the SMEG. I'm very happy with my choice. It is easy to use and beautiful looking. It works quickly and the espresso comes out perfectly.

Not as goood as it looks

This machine is so pretty! I bought the mint green. However the coffee water is never hot enough for a real espresso. Even if i pour a plain water first to get machine going. I replaced a la piccola machine with this and an regretting the 500.00 purchase

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Broke out of the blue TWICE within 3 years. Got the first one replaced after a huge battle with Smeg Customer Service only for the replacement to also brake after a year, when warranty is conveniently up.
