    Use & Care

    Use

    • Do not use water to extinguish oven fire as this can cause damage and personal injury.
    • Turn off oven, then turn off gas supply before disconnecting regulator from tank.
    • Make sure oven is completely cool before moving or storing.

    Care

    • Let oven cool naturally before cleaning. This can take up to 60 minutes, depending on ambient temperature. Do not use water to cool oven as this can cause damage and personal injury.
    • We recommend storing oven indoors, especially during inclement weather and near saltwater.
    • If oven is stored outdoors, use the Ooni Koda 16 Cover (sold separately) to keep it dry and protect it from debris.
    • To clean interior: Run oven at highest temperature for 30 minutes to burn off excess food. Once cool, wipe down with dry paper towels.
    • To clean exterior: Once cool, wipe down with warm, soapy water. Dry immediately. Avoid using abrasive cleaning products and harsh chemicals.
    • To clean stone baking board: Allow oven to cool completely, then flip board over. The oven's high temperatures will clean the underside of the board during the next cook. Board is not dishwasher safe. Do not clean with dishwashing liquid.

    Fabulous Pizza Oven

    This is the best pizza oven. I did a lot of research. Now owning this oven I am more than wowed!!!!! This oven is fabulous as well as on spot professional as they get. We’ve learned to adjust the temp to how we like our pizzas cook. “ No more take out for us”

    Designed for Neapolitan Pizza

    At 900 degrees in the back left, you have about 25 seconds before the pizza starts to burn. My most successful pizzas have been turning off the oven just before launch and then back on after a few minutes to brown the cheese. So there is a “dance” and a learning curve to the process. Will I enjoy learning it or wish I had something that was a little more hands off is yet to be seen.

    Love it.

    I haven't branched off from basic pizza preparation and I am still fine-tuning my skills. My first couple pizzas were a bit toasty on the outside and doughy on the inside. Since then, I turn the heat all the way down for the actual bake and then back to max to ready the stone for the next one. I've also started to preheat it for 45 minutes to get the stone more uniformly hot. I do think the instructions could have been more clear about temp control during the cook. But I love it. Last night was the best pizzas so far!

    I absolutely love my Ooni Koda 16 pizza oven. Like everyone says, there is a learning curve. It took me a few bakes to get used to it, but now I understand the oven more. So be patient. I love it! Its well designed and pizza comes out great every time.

    Never again

    This product is awful, used it once and never again. There is no way to turn the pizza in this oven, therefore one side cooks fast and the other not at all. I am disappointed in this oven.
