Use
- For use with #4 paper filters.
- Use of permanent wire mesh filters is not recommended.
Care
- Clean exterior of brewer regularly with moist cloth. Wipe dry.
- After each use, hand-wash brew basket and carafe with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Thermal carafe coffee oil stains may be removed either by placing a small
- amount of electric dishwasher detergent and water in carafe and allowing
- it to soak overnight or use Urnex® or Durgol® cleaning products (follow manufacturer directions).
- Regularly descale brewer to maintain optimal performance and warranty.
- Do not submerge brewer in liquid.

Thermal carafe review

Quite an excellent coffee maker. We chose the thermal to replace a Moccamaster glass carafe coffee maker that stopped working after more than 15 years. We liked the idea of not having the plastic piece(bpa free) for brewing sitting in the hot coffee. Thermos is very convenient and plastic brewing piece needs to be changed to scewtop after coffee is brewed. Only drawback is that there is no place to store the bewing piece and/or screw top. Would prefer company replace pastic parts with metal. Does brew an excellent cup of coffee.

Disappointed in the stores defective product contr

Was presented an open box. Didn’t like and requested a sealed box, other box was crushed. Was talked into buying the open box. Product did not work. Was already a return to the store as some filters were missing. Returned for a full refund.

Admitted coffee snob - Fairly good coffee!

Hard to control brew strength. There are 2 settings, but seems to be much weaker than my prior coffee maker with the same grind and bean. All the rest of it works fabulous though!

Moccamaster Technivorm

Love my Moccamaster. This is my second Moccamaster purchase. The first was with the glass carafe that keeps coffee hot on a burner. This one is the insulated carafe that keeps the coffee hot without the risk of bitterness by sitting on a hot burner for too long.

Lasted 2 weeks.

carafe broke with in 2 weeks. I received a replacement from Technivorm, but as soon as I received it the maker itself stopped working. I would like to return it for a refund.

Not so hot.

The coffee maker does not make a large enough amount of coffee and the coffee is not hot enough. I am amazed that it gets such high ratings. Also I was surprised that I could not return it since I am dissatisfied with it.

Disappointing

This product is really disappointing. It is cheaply made of plastic and looks like a fifth grade science project. The coffee produced is no better than that from a twenty dollar drip coffee carafe. I have wanted one of these for several years and decided to splurge, I wish that I saved my money.
