Use
- Oven must be placed at least 4" from adjacent walls for adequate air circulation; exterior of unit heats up when in use.
- Caution should be exercised when using pans and dishes constructed of materials other than metal. If using ceramic or glass pans or dishes, it is important that they are oven safe to prevent cracking.
- Avoid using utensils on nonstick interior.
Care
- Hand-wash accessories.
- Avoid using abrasive cleansers, metal scouring pads and metal utensils.
- Crumb tray: After each use, slide out crumb tray and discard crumbs. Wipe tray clean with soft, damp sponge. To avoid stain buildup, use nonabrasive liquid cleanser. Apply cleanser to sponge – not tray – before cleaning. Dry thoroughly.
- Clean oven exterior and interior with damp cloth. Do not touch or clean quartz heating elements.
- Clean glass door with glass cleaner or damp cloth. Use soft plastic scouring pad to remove stubborn stains.

Great little oven

We use our Breville oven every single day. It reaches temp quickly and is great for cooking and baking without heating up the kitchen. Wonderful for roasting veggies, air frying fries, baking a small pizza, dessert pie, anything in a loaf pan, fish, chicken, etc. It has become an indispensable part of our kitchen!

Breville Smart Oven

Perfect size for a smaller kitchen, with a variety of cooking options that we are still exploring. So far I have nothing but praise for both the Breville oven, and for the professional and friendly staff that sold it to us!

Not Great For Toasting

I purchased the Smart Oven after my cheaper "Toaster Oven" worn out. We mainly used it for toasting bread. Although the new Smart Oven has been nice for better baking and air frying, I'm not impressed with the "Toasting" feature. I have to preheat if I want to toast a piece of bread to a medium darkness, even though I have it set on the darkest setting. Other than that it's a very nice unit - looks nice too. Also not impressed with the Customer Service I got at William Sonoma where it was purchased. They knew we wanted it mainly for a toaster, sold us on this unit. When we had issues getting the toast dark enough they said they didn't have much experience with toast as they mainly used it for other features and were not willing to replace it for us.

Disappointed

I had a Breville Mini smart oven and absolutely LOVED it, wish I’d have bought it years sooner. So, when this Smart oven came out with the Air Fryer I jumped right on it. I wish I could return it, quite frankly. While I do use a number of the features, I use it a lot for plain old toasting. Who knew toast could take TEN minutes?! My husband and I both like our toast on the darker side and even ten minutes doesn’t achieve that. We just get sick and tired of waiting and repeatedly hitting “a bit more”. If it weren’t for my husband loving the air fryer function I’d pull my old mini oven out of storage and dump this thing.

The Breville

The Breville toaster, air fryer, etd is as usual a wonderful machine. However, the directions are hard to understand. At this point, I am only using the toaster part for that reason. I
