Use
- Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
- For best results, use low to medium heat.
- When using high heat, bring pan slowly to high temperature.
- Oven and broiler safe to 500°F.
- Use plastic, wood and nylon utensils only; metal utensils may damage enamel.
- Enamel may chip or crack if banged against hard surface.
- Handles and knob can become very hot. Always use oven mitts or potholders when handling.
Care
- Allow pan to cool before cleaning.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads, harsh detergents, bleach and abrasive cleaners.
- To remove stubborn food residue, soak for a few minutes in hot, soapy water.
- Dry thoroughly before storing.

Exceptional Pan

I purchased this to bake my sourdough bread and it works wonderfully. It is easy to use, I place it in the oven while it is preheating then wait so it sits for a total of 45 minutes (during preheat and once up to temp). I then place my dough inside and get a beautiful oven spring with each baking. It is extremely well made, durable and a wonderful yellow color. I chose this as I wanted a dark interior, so I would not fret over any little spot I could see, however, it cleans so easily this would probably not have been an issue. All in all, this will not be my last Staub purchase.

I LOVE STAUB. All my cookware and bakeware is now STAUB. I ordered the 5qt Dutch Oven in CREAM as requested by the bride to be. She asked for Le Creuset but I bought Staub instead. It arrived. She loves the pot!! But she said it is pink. Well, I think it is a keeper but if you are trying to match a set using color, well, not what I ordered. Not a problem. She loves the pot. So the 4 stars only refers to the Williams Sonoma product color switch and it is being kept and no need to return.

Love this French oven. It is versatile. I even make sour dough bread in it. The crust comes out perfect every time. Highly recommend.

I like Staub

I like Staub products. However, I ordered the aqua colored product and was sent the turquoise one. I’m sure you discontinued the aqua color so it shouldn’t have been an option when I made out the order. Otherwise, the turquoise color is pretty.
