Use & Care

RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

• Starter ships fresh at ambient temperature.
• Upon receipt, store unopened at room temperature for up to 48 months. Once opened, store in refrigerator and enjoy within 6 weeks.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Sorbet

Ingredients

• 1 bottle sorbet starter (included)
• 2 cups water

Directions

• Pour sorbet starter in prefrozen tub of 2-qt. ice cream maker.
• Add water. Stir well, then churn according to manufacturer's instructions.
• Transfer immediately to freezer-safe container, cover and store in freezer.

Slushy

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup sorbet starter (included)
• 1 1/2 cups ice

Directions

• Place ice in blender and add sorbet starter.
• Blend on highest setting until mixture becomes smooth and slushy.
• Serve immediately.

Granita

Ingredients

• 1 bottle sorbet starter (included)
• 3 cups water

Directions

• Mix sorbet starter with water and pour in large flat pan or freezable plastic container. Cover and place in freezer.
• Stir mixture well every 40 minutes using fork, until icy enough to scoop, approx. 2 hours. Be sure to scrape mixture well from sides and over top every time you stir it.
• Serve immediately.
