Blue check tea kettle

Very pretty, but a little heavy. No whistle to alert when it's boiling on stove. Hard to get lid off.

Decoration only

I received this tea kettle as a gift and it’s really beautiful but the first time I used it it turned yellow from the heat. I hesitate to use it again. I think the yellow wing will just get worse. In addition, it doesn’t whistle when the water is boiling so you have to really watch it. I think I’ll have to return it because I don’t have room for two tea kettles on my stove and this one is really just good for decoration.
