Gorgeous

I have been wanting this Mackenzie Childs tea kettle for about 6 - 7 months. It’s been out of stock. When I received an email stating it was available, I was absolutely shocked! So, of course I had to have it! I don’t know if I’ll actually use it but it looks beautiful sitting on my stove. It’s absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for letting me know that it was back in stock! 🖤🤍

Tea for one

I received this tea kettle as a gift over a year ago. I wasn't sure I would like it because I have been using a smart tea kettle that heated the water quickly to just the precise temperature for my single estate jasmine pearl tea. But I love this thing! I love the ritual of having to put in fresh water and wait for the whistle to sound just like my grandmother used to do. I bought the matching mug, now if only I could find the whole set! I want the matching saucer, a tea tray, anything else! I feel so fancy and cozy by myself when I use this kettle. It's silly but I love it. Over the past year I have used this tea kettle every day, sometimes twice a day. The colors have not faded, the bottom of the tea kettle has not weakened or warped, and there is no rust to be seen. I know I should dump out the water after pouring my tea and keep it dry, but I rarely do that, if ever. I pour out the water and rinse it before I'm about to use it. If I had one wish, I would wish for the whistle to be unique, perhaps like a harmonica note, but I love it the way it is. Not one complaint.
